Role Description EJ has an immediate opening for a Human Resources Manager. This position is a remote position preferably located near one of our locations. Responsible for ensuring that the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of human resources plans, and programs realized in the Sales Branches. Plans and administers policies relating to all phases of human resources activities by performing the following: - Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance. - Recruits, interviews, tests, and selects employees to fill vacant positions. - Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive employee relations and to promote understanding of company goals. - Keeps records of personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, disciplinary documentation and terminations, and employee statistics. - Coordinates supervisor/management training in interviewing, hiring, terminations, performance review, safety, and other policies and procedures. - Works directly with safety department to promote a safe work environment through employee involvement and other accident prevention programs. Ensures compliance with safety standards. - Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues. - Timely responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs. - Administers performance review and salary/wage administration program to ensure compliance and equity within organization. Conducts wage surveys within labor market to determine competitive wage rates. - Administers benefits programs such as life, health, dental and disability insurances, retirement plans, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance. - Aids in incident investigations and consults with third party administrator or insurance carrier regarding workers compensation claims. Prepares all necessary paperwork to report accidents. - Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations. - Represents organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations. - Support HR technology initiatives and process improvement aligned with business needs. - Promotes the culture, the mission and vision, and the core values of the company. This includes adherence to and promotion of the company safety beliefs, employee engagement, competencies, code of conduct, and other policies and procedures. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Active SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP; SPHR or PHR certification a plus. Water Products Sales Specialist

Role Description EJ has an immediate opening for a Water Products Sales Specialist in the Mountain West Region in the US that will support our Utah and Denver, Colorado branches. This is a remote role; the ideal candidate would live within the territory. SUMMARY: Assists the sales and technical sales staff by providing technical engineering and sales support for the Water Product lines. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Works with WP Sales Manager to develop and implement strategic marketing plans and sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services. - Responsible for district product strategy and assisting in the implementation for existing and new market areas and products. - Has knowledge of Water Products and has the technical ability to understand features, designs, and concepts. - Understands the function and application of Water Products and has knowledge of the industry. - Develop a strong knowledge and understanding of competitor products. - Strong networking ability with EJ customer groups. - Monitors competitor products, sales, and marketing activities. - Works with Technical Sales to help train and educate sales staff on products and product strategy. - Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners. - Routinely visits customers and end users of our project, educating them about new products and obtaining their feedback and relating this feedback to the appropriate location. - Continually educate themselves on the new products and be knowledgeable about them. - Completes regular reports about specification work completed/in process, large projects identified, customer service concerns/issues/successes, and sales calls completed. - Establishes and maintains a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events. - Attends trade shows, meetings, expositions, and conventions to make customer contacts which result in product sales. - Meets with key clients, assisting sales representatives with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals. - Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion. - Reviews and analyzes sales performances against goals set by Management, quotes and plans to determine effectiveness. - Proficient (or has the ability to gain proficiency in 6 months) on Salesforce.com to capture and share all work activity. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university, preferably in Engineering or Business-related field. - Minimum of two (2) years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Role Description EJ has an immediate opening for a Sales Representative to cover the Mississippi territory. This is a home-based position aligned with the Louisiana branch office in Denham Springs, Louisiana, however, regular in-office presence is not required. SUMMARY: Promotes, specifies and sells products for manufacturer or distributor to business and industrial establishments or individuals at sales office, or customer's place of business by performing the following duties: - Promotes the culture, mission, vision, and core values of the company, including adherence to safety beliefs and employee engagement. - Creates and updates lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads. - Promotes safety awareness and ensures employees understand safety expectations. - Strategically travels throughout assigned territory to solicit specifications and orders. - Displays or demonstrates product using samples or catalog, emphasizing salable features. - Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained. - Estimates date of delivery to customers based on production and delivery schedules. - Prepares required reports of business transactions and sales progress. - Calls and follows up on engineering firms and municipalities to assist in specifications. - Tracks projects through job lead publications and communicates this information to branch. - Handles incoming phone calls from customers and suppliers. - Drives fork-lift in sales yards, loads and unloads trucks, and handles products as needed. - Makes service calls to accomplish minor repairs to company products. - Continually educates themselves on new and existing products. - Provides direct customer communication regarding product use and application. - Reviews existing products and customer specifications for cost-effective casting design. - Attends trade shows, meetings, expositions, and conventions to make customer contacts. - Maintains complete knowledge of EJ castings and water products, as well as EJ partner products. EJ has an immediate opportunity for a Technical Sales Specialist to handle Corporate Accounts. The Specialist will reside in the Eastern US. Location: Home-based position located in any Eastern state in the US. Travel required. Although Delaware is listed as the reporting branch, there is not a need to work in-person at that location. SUMMARY Provides technical and sales support for underground construction specification work on all Company products and/or processes by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Promotes the culture, the mission and vision, and the core values of the company. This includes adherence to and promotion of the company safety beliefs, employee engagement, competencies, code of conduct, and other policies and procedures. Visits customers, end users and specifiers of our product, educating them about our product offering, especially new or innovative items. Conducts customer and specifier (power utilities, engineers, consultants, and others) educational seminars and product overviews. Primary contact for area sales and customer technical related questions related to power utilities. Tracks market trends and reports them to management. Provides direct customer communication when needed for our product. Attend trade shows, meetings, exhibitions and conventions to make customer contacts and promote EJ products. Maintain complete knowledge of our castings, fabricated products and composites. Work with engineering personnel on design modifications and submittals for customer approval. Work with and support local EJ Branches in regards to power utilities and other related contacts/ customers to promote, specify and EJ supply products. Completes regular reports about specification work completed/in process, large projects identified, customer service concerns/issues/successes, and sales calls completed.
