Role Description The Sr Director, Data analytics will be working with Business and technical teams to develop industry leading analytical solutions and to provide technical/architecture support for the current and new projects. The candidate will be working with complex data flow and system interactions to build next and support next generation data analytics. The candidate will work in an agile, collaborative environment that is passionate in providing innovative solutions for hard problems. - Understand the complex data structures and data flow interactions between multiple Custom Enterprise systems. - Understand the business problem and define new data modelling based on the business requirement. - Experience in implementing dashboard solutions using different data sources including on premise data servers, cloud services and several file formats. - Strong SQL reporting skills with the ability to write complex SQL queries and be able to quickly shape data into reporting and analytic solutions. - Knowledge on applying data security and custom access requirements. - Strong Analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills. - In-depth knowledge on Performance Metrics, Charts and Storyboarding. - Ability to anticipate bigger picture and are holistic in nature. - Multitasking, managing dynamic and high priority tasks. - Flexible to work in a dynamic global project team with resources working across different time zones. - Actively participate and collaborate in an agile development environment with a self-directed team of data analysts, data engineers and product owner. - Willing to explore existing/new tools and frameworks as new technologies are evolving. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience. - Minimum of 15 years of strong experience and expertise with SQL & data visualization tools. - Minimum of 13+ years of experience working with data modelling & dashboarding with Power BI. Requirements - Competent with Power BI Desktop, Gateway, Service and Report Server. - Good understanding of Power Query M and hands-on experience in writing complex DAX queries. - Knowledge with Analytical programming languages using R/Python libraries would be a plus. - Experience working with cloud databases, Oracle, MySQL databases. - Strong experience in Data warehouse and Big Data analytics preferred. - Candidate must have Strong communication skills and creative skills.
