Responsibilities - Architecture & Delivery Excellence: - Lead the technical design and architecture of complex, enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure solutions on Google Cloud Platform. - Architect and implement enterprise landing zones and governance frameworks. - Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and GitOps methodologies. - Define and implement cloud networking architectures. - Architect and implement cloud security solutions. - Design and oversee platform engineering capabilities. - Architect observability, reliability, and operational frameworks. - Design infrastructure platforms supporting AI workloads. - Project Leadership & Delivery Management: - Lead the technical delivery of large-scale GCP cloud infrastructure and modernization programs. - Provide technical leadership and guidance to cloud engineers and other technical roles. - Manage technical risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle. - Ensure financial and contractual responsibility for the profitability of assigned cloud engagements. - Conduct deep-dive technical workshops and architecture reviews. - Client Engagement & Technical Advisory: - Collaborate closely with client stakeholders to understand their business objectives. - Lead Value Engineering efforts to help clients articulate the ROI of Cloud Infrastructure initiatives. - Present and articulate complex technical solutions to client audiences. - Act as a key technical point of contact for clients during project execution. - Support pre-sales activities by contributing to solution design and proposal development. - Plan and lead strategic workshops and ideation sessions for customers. - Practice Development & Mentorship: - Contribute significantly to the development and refinement of TEKsystems' GCP practice. - Mentor and guide junior architects and engineers. - Stay current with advancements in Google Cloud Platform services and emerging AI infrastructure capabilities. - Participate in architectural discussions to ensure customer success. Qualifications - Bachelor’s/master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent, relevant experience. - A minimum of 12+ years of progressive experience in Information Technology. - At least 5–7+ years of direct, hands-on experience designing, implementing, and operating enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure solutions on GCP. - A minimum of 2–3+ years of experience in a technical leadership role. - Demonstrated experience with the complete lifecycle of Infrastructure projects on GCP. - Proven experience architecting and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and cloud automation frameworks. - Strong client-facing experience, including presenting technical solutions. - Extensive experience architecting and implementing secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure solutions on GCP. - At least 1 year of experience in Generative AI using Hyperscalers. - Active Google Cloud Professional Certification is highly preferred.
