Job Description

Senior Product Manager

Ratehub.ca

• Own the product strategy for the Everyday Banking portfolio (including cards, chequing, savings, investments, and loans), translating market data and user insights into a high-growth vision. • Set the vision for AI-driven personalization that anticipates user needs and surfaces the right products and guidance. • Drive roadmap alignment and prioritization discussions with executive leadership, securing buy-in on critical trade-offs. • Develop deep expertise in fintech trends, competitor movements, and open banking to identify new market opportunities. • Translate strategy into clear product requirements, defining scope, success criteria, and edge cases for the cross-functional pod comprising engineering, design, and QA. • Lead the pod through backlog sequencing, scrum ceremonies, and end-to-end delivery. • Make high-judgment trade-offs across scope, technical scalability, and timelines, backed by data. • Define success metrics and establish reporting to evaluate product performance, surface insights, and communicate results to leadership. • Optimize delivery processes and prioritization frameworks to reduce friction, mitigate risk, and accelerate team velocity. • Orchestrate end-to-end GTM plans across operational readiness, marketing alignment, and launch execution. • Optimize user funnels, transforming user research and A/B testing data into opportunities that improve conversion and maximize revenue. • Partner with marketing and content teams to build high-converting web experiences that strengthen SEO, GEO, and landing page performance.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience, with a proven track record of owning a product line end-to-end (ideally within fintech, personal finance, or a high-growth B2C marketplace).
  • Demonstrated success defining and evolving product strategy, rather than simply executing a pre-determined roadmap.
  • Expertise using web analytics, user testing, and A/B testing to drive conversion rate optimization and measure product performance.
  • Strong Agile/Scrum background with a talent for validating concepts through MVPs and lean testing before committing to a full technology build.
  • Fluency incorporating AI tools into the product workflow to accelerate market research, data synthesis, and rapid prototyping.
  • A passion for UX/design and the ability to translate customer and business needs into outstanding products.
  • Proven ability to influence executive leadership as well as cross-functional teams.
  • Skilled at bringing structure to ambiguous problems, turning vague, open-ended challenges into clear hypotheses, scoped bets, and a sequenced plan.
  • Highly organized and adaptable, able to manage multiple workstreams and re-prioritize as conditions change.
  • A genuine interest in the personal finance space and the problems Ratehub is solving for Canadians.

Benefits

  • Competitive Compensation: A salary that reflects your experience and the Canadian market.
  • Remote-First Environment: The flexibility to work from anywhere in Canada, with occasional in-person team gatherings for collaboration.
  • Flexible Hours: Autonomy to manage your schedule to support work-life balance.
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Full health and dental coverage with no employee-paid premiums.
  • RRSP Matching: A company-matched RRSP program to support your long-term financial goals.
  • Professional Development: An individual training allowance to help you grow your skills and career.

Role Description Aetonix is a digital health company building a chronic care management platform for U.S. health systems, clinics, and ACOs. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to own the product vision, strategy, and execution for Aetonix's chronic care management (CCM) platform. You will shape what we build from the ground up — working directly with engineering, clinical advisors, and US healthcare partners to bring a patient-centered CCM platform to market. This is a 0-to-1 role. You will conduct discovery with real Medicare patients and care teams, make high-stakes decisions with incomplete information, and move from concept to working software in a compressed timeline. You will be the connective tissue between discovery and delivery. What You'll Own - Product ownership: Lead the product trio's discovery-to-delivery process; define, validate, and ship solutions to the highest-priority problems identified by leadership. - Discovery leadership: Design and run research with Medicare patients (65+, multi-chronic conditions) and clinical users (care coordinators, CCM nurses, MAs). - AI product development: Build AI-powered features into the platform — clinical decision support, risk stratification, intelligent patient engagement. - Technical documentation: Write PRDs and technical specifications that reduce ambiguity and enable confident engineering execution across the team. - Clinical & regulatory alignment: Work directly with US health system innovation partners on CMS CCM compliance, billing alignment, and go-to-market readiness. - Cross-functional execution: Partner with Design, Engineering, and Product Management team members to align priorities, resolve blockers, and keep delivery moving at startup velocity. Qualifications - Demonstrated 0-to-1 build experience — you have defined, built, and launched a product or platform in an early-stage or growth-stage environment. - Healthcare domain expertise: US healthcare delivery, payer dynamics (Medicare/Medicaid, VBC), EHR ecosystems (Epic, Cerner), and clinical workflows. - 7+ years of product management experience with a clear track record of shipped software from concept to production. - AI/ML product experience in a production healthcare product — LLM integration, responsible AI in clinical contexts, and success metrics for AI-driven features. - Technical fluency: able to engage credibly in architecture conversations — REST APIs, microservices, cloud infrastructure (AWS), and healthcare data standards (FHIR R4, HL7). - HIPAA compliance experience and a track record managing PHI-handling products in a regulated environment. - Exceptional PRD and technical documentation skills — you write requirements that reduce ambiguity and enable high-quality engineering execution. Requirements - Experience building clinical dashboard or care team workflow products. - Prior EHR integration work (Epic App Orchard, SMART on FHIR, Cerner). - Direct experience with CMS CCM billing compliance and Medicare program mechanics. Who You Are - A builder — most energized when you are defining something new, not optimizing something established. - Mission-driven — you care about patients and want your work to have a real impact on how chronic disease is managed. - Humble enough to learn from a care coordinator, confident enough to push back on an engineering constraint, and clear enough to explain both to a President. - Genuinely curious about AI — you read about how models are trained and evaluated, experiment on your own time, and treat AI/ML as a craft to develop. Benefits - An agile, dynamic and motivated team working together in a fast-growing company that is changing the future of virtual care. - The ability to make a real difference in people’s lives. - Health insurance including medical, dental, vision, and life.
