• Accounting & Controls: Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process for our brokerage operations within our CRM and subledgers • Operational Data & Reporting: Own the process of extracting, validating, and reconciling operational data from our CRM and other source systems into reliable financial outputs; Identify and resolve data discrepancies between operational systems and financial records; work cross-functionally with sales and operations teams to address root causes; Build and maintain management reporting that connects operational metrics to financial performance — revenue by carrier, by product, by channel; Track KPIs that give business unit leads visibility into the drivers of their financial results • Process Transformation & Automation: Identify and implement tools and workflows that drive efficiency in revenue recognition, month-end close, and KPI reporting. Leverage automations to ensure accurate and timely reporting; Build systems and processes that reduce manual effort and increase accuracy and speed across the finance function; Leverage Salesforce and other platforms to connect operational and financial data for more effective reporting and analysis • Financial Planning & Analysis: Assist with the annual budget and quarterly forecast processes for the Mortgage and Insurance BUs; Assist with the pricing analysis and modeling for the brokerages, including rate competitiveness, margin optimization, and industry specific economics • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of financial analysts; Model the right culture — hands-on when needed, strategic when it counts

• Coordinate life insurance cases from lead stage through policy issue and servicing • Support client onboarding and guide clients through the application process • Process policy changes with required broker signoff • Follow up on NSF payments and send payment/renewal reminders • Make daily outbound calls to new leads for broker appointments (target: ~50 calls/day) • Maintain Salesforce accuracy • Support compliance needs, record accuracy, and file audits • Provide client support throughout lengthy underwriting processes

• Assist the engineering team in the migration of data assets from Amazon Redshift to Snowflake, ensuring data integrity and performance. • Work closely with lead engineers to provision and configure the Insurance BU data infrastructure. • Build and maintain data pipelines using Airflow and dbt. • Help create clean, modular, and maintainable code by refactoring complex queries into streamlined transformation layers. • Partner with both engineering and business teams to understand requirements and deliver data solutions.

• Play a key role in the transition from Looker to Power BI, recreating essential dashboards and ensuring reporting accuracy across platforms. • Perform data validation between Looker and Power BI to ensure that metrics, logic, and filters remain consistent and accurate. • Assist in developing and maintaining dbt tests (schema and data tests) to catch upstream data quality issues before they reach the reporting layer. • Provide ad-hoc support for existing dashboards, troubleshooting data discrepancies and fulfilling custom visualization requests. • Build clean, documented data models and optimize SQL queries to improve dashboard performance and reduce refresh times.

• Plays a key role in our Life Insurance Brokerage with supporting brokers, clients, and the insurance process from lead intake through policy issue and ongoing servicing

• Maintain a system to track, reconcile and report data for mortgage or insurance transactions including revenues, costs and commissions. • Maintain tracking and documentation of third-party reporting information in a timely manner. • Identify revenue discrepancies and manage escalation with internal and external stakeholders. • Ensure accuracy of costs and revenues in Salesforce at a transactional-level. • Respond to agents’ questions regarding insurance or mortgage transactions including breakdowns of revenues or costs. • Monitor, verify, and maintain accounting journals, ledgers, and other financial records. • Support the month end and year end close with the preparation and maintenance of working papers. • Other ad-hoc tasks / projects as assigned by finance leadership.

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process end-to-end, including review of journal entries and accruals • Maintain and enforce the close calendar • Prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS, including notes and supporting schedules • Serve as the embedded finance leader for the Mortgage Business Unit • Own the financial narrative for the BU • Prepare monthly BU performance reporting for the CEO, Board, and Investors • Own the annual budget and quarterly forecast processes for the Mortgage BU • Build and maintain dynamic financial models that support scenario planning and executive decision-making • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of financial analysts

• Lead the design and deployment of the Insurance BU data infrastructure. • Build and deploy pipelines to automate manual financial tasks, including the ingestion and transformation of unstructured data (PDFs, XLS, etc.) to streamline billing and reconciliation. • You will be responsible for creating clean, modular, and easily maintainable data pipelines by transforming complex structured code and convoluted queries. • Proactively drive technical decisions by demonstrating an aptitude for understanding business goals. • Collaborate with engineering and business teams to deliver solutions offering real business value.

• Own the end-to-end design process, from research and ideation to prototyping, validating, and delivering high-impact product experiences that help our users make smart financial decisions. • Act as the voice of the customer, using research, usability testing, A/B testing, and other analytical tools to understand and validate ideas, problems, and solutions, ensuring every decision delivers measurable value to users. • Partner with product, engineering, data, marketing, and content teams to translate ideas into meaningful, user-centered experiences. • Design responsive and consistent experiences across mobile and desktop. • Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure design feasibility, high-fidelity implementation, and visual and functional accuracy in the final product. • Contribute to product roadmaps and sprint planning alongside product and engineering teams. • Build and maintain design backlogs, and help shape design strategy for the next 6–24 months. • Support additional design needs from content and marketing initiatives across Ratehub and MoneySense. • Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to align on goals, gather requirements, and co-create solutions. • Communicate design concepts and rationale clearly and persuasively to technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership. • Build and maintain scalable design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across products. • Ensure all designs meet accessibility standards (WCAG) and deliver inclusive user experiences. • Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve design processes and methodologies.
