Position Summary: The Clinical Quality Engineer II plays an integral role on the Quality team and supports the company's compliance activities with CLIA, CAP, ISO 15189, NYSDOH, and applicable state requirements. This individual also supports the company’s quality activities that comply with the FDA’s Quality System Regulation and ISO 13485 . The Clinical Quality Engineer II works closely with a variety of departments to support quality activities and identify opportunities for continual improvement. • Meet with clients to understand mechanical, electrical, and automation requirements for large-scale facility systems. • Develop PLC programs to control HVAC and mechanical systems supporting tightly regulated data center environments. • Implement customer-requested changes and updates to existing PLC databases and control strategies. • Provide technical expertise during client meetings and design reviews. • Support field and commissioning teams during system start-up, troubleshooting, and validation activities. • Collaborate with contractors and vendors to ensure successful integration of equipment, controls, and sub-systems. • Debug installation issues during static and dynamic commissioning of building automation and special systems. • Diagnose and resolve system errors in PLC logic, hardware, and communication networks. • Document programming workflows, logic changes, and system configurations for project turnover.
