Job Description
Lead Developer, C# – .NET
Hypoport SE
• Hands-on development and architecture work within the team (C#/.NET) • Active participation as a developer in the sprint, including independently implementing features and bug fixes • Taking on more complex technical tasks and solving architectural challenges in day-to-day team work • Contributing to architectural decisions within the team, e.g., regarding modularization, interfaces and security • Active involvement in the further development of our core systems (C#/.NET, MS SQL) toward resilient, containerized services in a Kubernetes cluster • Considering non-functional requirements such as observability, performance, scalability, security and deployment • Providing technical support in refinement, including clearly explaining complex technical issues to Product Managers • CI/CD, code reviews & clean code • Actively contributing to the expansion and optimization of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Azure DevOps) and to the establishment of clean code practices, code reviews and automated tests (unit & system tests) with a clear shift-left mindset • Contributing to shorter development cycles and more reliable deployments within the team • Promoting shared knowledge rather than siloed expertise: you ensure that knowledge is accessible across the team, documented and not tied to individuals • Contributing to structured, clear and up-to-date process and system documentation • Developing practical best-practice guidelines and technical standards with a focus on quality and efficiency • Providing technical mentorship and coaching to developers in the areas of architecture, clean code and systems thinking, without disciplinary responsibility • Supporting the onboarding of new team members through technical input and knowledge transfer • Encouraging continuous learning and constructive professional exchange within the team • Close coordination with the Engineering Manager on technical questions and the team’s technical direction

- Solid understanding of the possibilities and limitations of AI in a corporate context
- Experience with AI/LLM-assisted development and ideally with integrating AI-based features
- Practical experience with Docker/Kubernetes, fully automated deployments and Infrastructure as Code
