Role Description The Partner Account Manager (PAM) is an inside partner account manager role focused on working with small managed services partners who have relationships and sell to small businesses in an assigned territory. This role has the primary goal of sales growth through pipeline generation with partners. - Facilitate partners co-selling into end-customer organizations with MSPs. - Be a primary contact for territory partners. - Pull resources from a shared pool, including vertical specialists, partner systems engineers, and partner marketing. - Influence and coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet and exceed sales targets. - Hold a unique sales quota; experience selling to customers from an inside sales motion is helpful. What you’ll do: - Own a Managed Service Provider sales territory and unique quota, driving sales through MSP partners. - Build, maintain, and manage relationships with current and prospective partners. - Develop partner capabilities to facilitate the sell-through of Egnyte solutions. - Establish productive, trust-based relationships with key personnel in assigned partner accounts. - Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives. - Coordinate the involvement of Egnyte’s personnel to meet partner performance objectives. - Drive joint pipeline generation with key partners to meet pipeline and revenue goals. - Process a high volume of partner orders and facilitate partner success. - Drive business planning with key partners to develop mutual performance objectives. - Work cross-functionally with Egnyte key stakeholders to build a “one-team” attitude. - Build capacity, capability, and collaboration within a portfolio of partners. Qualifications - Previous experience of driving channel sales and managing partners from an inside sales perspective, ideally within the data security and/or cloud storage segment. - Hard-working, self-driven, and highly motivated individual with great team spirit. - 5+ years’ experience building and managing partnerships, ideally within the territory with strong existing partner relationships. - Motivated by driving indirect/influence revenue with a record of quota over-achievement. - Highly organized with strong operational competence to understand Egnyte systems. - Ability to listen, make recommendations, and influence partner executives. - A strategic thinker with effective communication and influence skills. - Experience managing partner relationships based on developing and delivering service offerings tied to vendor products. - Demonstrated progressive experience with B2B sales. - Interest in Egnyte and its software platform. - Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills. - Strong personal network within the industry. - Driven, highly motivated, and results-driven. - Shares core values and works in accordance with those values.
