Role Description The Quality Engineer II is responsible for test planning, design, execution, and automation for various Fandango applications and subsystems, including both front-end client and back-end server testing. - Perform software quality testing, including functional, regression, and integration testing. - Develop and document test scripts, test cases, defect tracking, and reports. - Ability to work independently and own quality for business initiatives. - Create and maintain manual and/or automated test maintenance scripts, test data, and other deliverables related to the software quality assurance (SQA) process. - Review log files and other run-time documentation for defects and issues. - Work closely with development teams to support and implement applications. - Interest in both front end and API level testing, and understanding how each layer interacts to make a software product work. - Ability to perform validations and troubleshooting at a database level, primarily SQL. - Other duties as assigned. MongoDB Technical Services Engineers use their exceptional problem solving and customer service skills, along with their deep technical experience, to advise customers and to solve their complex MongoDB problems. Technical Service Engineers are experts in the entire MongoDB ecosystem - database server, drivers, cloud and infrastructure. This also includes services such as Atlas (database as a service), or Cloud Manager (which helps customers with automation, backup and monitoring of their MongoDB systems). We are looking to speak with candidates based on the east coast for this remote role. After a 6-9 month ramp period, Monday to Friday from 7 AM - 4 PM EST, the schedule will shift permanently to Saturday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Sunday from 7 AM - 4 PM EST.
