Systems Analyst

This role involves understanding business objectives and problems, identifying alternative solutions, and performing studies and cost/benefit analysis of alternatives. Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or improve existing computer systems. Confers with personnel of organizational units to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements. Writes detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs. Reviews computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within existing systems. Hands-on experience implementing PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 Billing, understanding the flow between Customer Contracts and Accounts Receivable modules as a functional analyst. Gathers requirements, conducts fit-gap analysis, sets up the system, and performs end-to-end business process testing with converted data and third-party interface systems. Documents, supports training efforts, and performs other project tasks as needed. Some off-hours may be required depending on the project phase. Work Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Central Position is currently a remote position. If it should become hybrid in the future, in-office days will be negotiated with the selected candidate.

Job Requirements

  • 8 years of experience as a Functional Business Analyst on PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain Management (FSCM) on implementation efforts
  • 8 years of experience with PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 Billing
  • 8 years of experience in performing hands-on end-to-end system integration and external interface testing
  • 8 years of experience with Microsoft O365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
  • 8 years of experience with MS Teams and Channel communication with a large team
  • 4 years of preferred experience working with a public sector organization (Federal, State, or Local Government)
  • 2 years of preferred experience working with the Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) CAPPS Financials
  • 1 year of preferred experience with Jira
  • 1 year of preferred experience working with the Scrum framework
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
