Role Description The Finance AI Architect will be responsible for leading and supporting Finance transformation initiatives through the implementation of SAP S4, AI, automation and analytics technologies across the Finance and Operations organization. This role will define the Finance AI roadmap, identify high-value transformation opportunities, and ensure the successful delivery of solutions that improve operational efficiency, decision-making, process standardization, and business performance. - Execute Finance AI and Automation Roadmap, identifying and prioritizing opportunities across Finance and Operations (F&O) based on business value, ROI, and strategic objectives. - Facilitate and support functional AI design sessions leveraging in-depth knowledge of SAP S/4 and other relevant Finance and Accounting applications. - Develop and implement finance operating models to standardize processes and drive AI and continuous improvement. - Design and implement AI-powered finance solutions, including intelligent automation, digital assistants, predictive analytics, and generative AI capabilities to improve productivity and decision-making. - Review and analyze functional design for SAP S/4 HANA and Finance and Accounting applications such as OneStream and GF Costing System, assessing the impact on business operations and AI roadmap in partnership with the System Integrator and GFIT. - Drive the rationalization and harmonization of financial systems to enhance efficiency, reduce redundancy, and improve data integration across the organization. - Support AI governance, data quality, and control frameworks to ensure secure, compliant, and responsible use of AI technologies within F&O. - Develop and implement change management strategies to support the organization in adapting to AI and transformations initiated by Finance and Operations projects. - Optimize Finance processes and drive automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy. - Partner with Finance, IT, Data & Analytics, and external implementation partners to ensure alignment of business requirements, technology capabilities, and transformation objectives. - Ensure smooth integration of new business operations from M&A activities into global product costing and cost accounting process. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in Finance, Accounting, or Information Systems within multinational business operations and transformation environments. - 10+ years leading enterprise finance transformation initiatives within global organizations with emphasis in Manufacturing model companies. - 10+ years of experience leading SAP S/4HANA Finance transformations, including process harmonization, global template design, operating model development, and change management. - Strong understanding of finance processes such as costing in SAP S4 is a must. - In-depth knowledge of industry best practices for emerging trends in finance and technology. - In-depth understanding of SAP to actively contribute to design sessions for finance initiatives, integrating SAP solutions effectively. - Demonstrated success in developing and implementing finance operating models to standardize processes and drive AI and continuous improvement. - Proficient in leading and mentoring high-performing teams to deliver results and achieve organizational goals. - Proven track record of success in senior finance management roles, with a focus on transformation and optimization. - Experience in Lean Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement. - Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. - Strategic thinker with a strong analytical mindset and a proven ability to drive change and innovation. Requirements - SAP S/4 HANA - Enterprise AI Platforms (Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Services, Microsoft Copilot, Open AI Codex, Anthropic Claude Code or equivalent) - Azure DevOps - Data & Analytics Platforms (Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, Data lakes) - Process Automation Platforms (Power Automate, N8N, or equivalent) - Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, Visio) - Travel - Up to 30% - Fluency in English Language – written & verbal Preferred Qualifications - Strong project management skills, including developing and managing project plans. - Proficiency in creating and using tools like journey maps, business cases, and milestone charts to support the organization's finance transformation vision. - Experience with Corporate Performance Management platforms integrations. - Intelligent Automation, predictive analytics, machine learning and generative experience. - Ability to innovate and execute solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity. Expected Salary Range $105,000.00 - $189,000.00. The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
