Charge Capture Specialist

Role Description The Charge Entry Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely posting of our medical charges. - Posts charges received through import by correct coding guidelines. - Posts charges received manually by correct coding guidelines. - Review encounter tracking to ensure all billing is captured. - Effectively communicates with site managers to obtain all necessary information for billing. - Effectively communicates with physicians to resolve billing issues. Qualifications - Minimum High School Diploma or GED required. - Minimum of five (5) years of Medical Billing and insurance claim filing experience. - Certified Coding Certification preferred. - Familiarity with medical billing software. Requirements - Proficient knowledge of Medical Terminology, ICD, and CPT Codes. - Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word. - Accurate and efficient data entry skills. - Excellent customer service skills. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Proficient computer software and database skills. - Strong attention to detail. - Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
