Role Description Design, plan, and integrate cloud computing, data storage, and virtualization systems. - Provide specific, detailed information for hardware and software selection, cloud service provider selection, implementation techniques, application data migration techniques and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements. - Research relevant industry standards in cloud computing, data storage, and virtualization technologies including providers, development, deployments, service delivery, data, provisioning, and scaling. - Evaluate and report on new cloud and virtualization technologies to enhance capabilities of cloud-based and data services. - Provide systems engineering activities including: - System Architecting - System Analysis and Design - Interface and Data Architectures - Validation and Verification - System Integration - System Operations - Performance - Collaborate with Business and IT teams to determine which data is available and useful for the project. - Assist in the development of Agile Epics, Features, and User Stories related to cloud and data storage development. - Support Agile teams as a subject matter expert. - Make business recommendations to stakeholders in a clear manner based on architectural best practices. - Communicate regularly with customers, stakeholders, Agile teams, and management.
