Editorial Project Manager Remote Full Time Editorial Experienced Title: Editorial Project Manager Position Type: Full-time Location: Remote, within the contiguous United States Compensation: $78,000-$85,000 annually Reports to: Managing Editor Remote Work Environment About the organization The Institute for Curriculum Services (ICS) is a national nonprofit organization that enriches K-12 education by ensuring accurate, high-quality classroom material and teaching about Jews, Judaism, and Jewish history. We do this by editing textbooks and instructional materials, developing standards-supporting lessons, and providing professional development for teachers around the country. Position overview ICS seeks a detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborative professional to join our Editorial team. The Project Manager plays a critical role in keeping ICS’s editorial review and content development work on track - managing project lifecycles from initiation through delivery, maintaining the systems and workflows that keep the team organized, and ensuring that high-quality work reaches stakeholders on time. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on bringing order to complexity, takes genuine ownership of their work, and finds satisfaction in making a team run smoothly. The Project Manager reports to the Managing Editor and works closely with editorial staff, leadership, and external partners. Primary responsibilities Project Management - Own the full project lifecycle for Editorial Team projects from initiation through delivery, using waterfall project management methodology - Build and maintain detailed project plans in Smartsheet, including timelines, milestones, task hierarchies, owners, and due dates; update plans daily to reflect progress and changes - Track workload distribution across the Editorial Team and flag capacity concerns to support balanced scheduling - Serve as the team’s reliable source of truth on project status, ensuring colleagues have full visibility into history, outstanding items, and upcoming deadlines - Plan and facilitate project meetings (kickoffs, status check-ins), develop agendas, and distribute notes, decisions, and action items to relevant stakeholders - Oversee day-to-day project workflows including file organization, naming conventions, version control, and document hand-offs - Proactively identify risks and bottlenecks before they escalate; bring concerns to the Managing Editor with proposed solutions - Generate regular reports and status updates that surface project health and keep the Managing Editor and leadership informed Process Management - Support the Managing Editor in evaluating and refining the processes and documentation that govern Editorial Team workflows - Review and assist with updating team documentation - including guidelines, checklists, templates, and task descriptions - to keep it accurate and accessible - Support the rollout of new or updated processes, providing training to team members as needed - Assist in evaluating the team’s use of tools (Smartsheet, Google Docs) and flag opportunities for improved efficiency About you - Passionate about ICS’s mission and eager to contribute to meaningful, mission-driven work - Exceptionally detail-oriented; you catch what others miss and take file hygiene and documentation seriously - A proactive self-starter with a solutions-oriented approach; you anticipate needs and act before being asked - Skilled at holding others accountable with diplomacy and emotional intelligence, even across reporting lines - Strong sense of ownership and follow-through; you close loops and don’t let things fall through the cracks - Adaptable and composed under pressure; you recalibrate quickly without getting derailed when plans change - Collaborative and communicative, with the ability to work effectively across a team in a fully remote environment You have - A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience - 3–5 years of project management experience, ideally in a publishing, editorial, or education-adjacent environment; candidates with 5+ years are strongly preferred - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously with competing priorities and a track record of on-time delivery - Strong working knowledge of Smartsheet or a comparable project management platform (Asana, Monday.com, Microsoft Project); candidates without Smartsheet experience who demonstrate quick, independent software learning will be considered - Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Drive, Gmail: the core tools for day-to-day Editorial Team work) - Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with internal team members, leadership, and external stakeholders - Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative, mission-driven environment where adaptability and resourcefulness are essential Preferred: - Experience in educational publishing, curriculum development, or a nonprofit editorial environment - 3+ years experience with waterfall project management methodology - Experience configuring and administering Smartsheet (project plans, dashboards, automations, reports) We are - Passionate about the mission and the work that we do - A collaborative team that is intellectually curious, warm, and upbeat - Dedicated to learning and growing - Proactive problem solvers Benefits In addition to a collaborative, meaningful, and friendly work environment, we provide a generous compensation and benefits package that includes: - Medical, dental, vision, life, and long-term disability insurance - An employee flexible spending health care and dependent plan - A 401(k) program with organizational contribution - Generous paid vacation and health and wellness time - Paid time off from December 24-January 1st - Paid time off for federal holidays - Paid time off for Jewish holy days that fall during the work week, as well as floating holidays for those who observe other holy days - Professional development budget and time off ICS celebrates and appreciates the contributions of all of our team members, encourages professional development, and seeks talented, kind, and caring individuals to be a part of our team.

Role Description The Project Manager, Global Bioprocess Innovation will partner closely with the Vice President of Global Bioprocess Innovation to drive execution of strategic bioprocess development and production initiatives across Oath Biome's global ecosystem. This role will coordinate activities across internal teams and external partners, ensuring projects progress on schedule, risks are identified early, and cross-functional teams remain aligned. The position will serve as the central point of coordination for innovation programs spanning process development, product development, product supply and delivery, and manufacturing partners. Key Responsibilities - Program Management - Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, and action trackers for bioprocess innovation and R&D programs. - Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution of deliverables. - Lead project meetings and track decisions, risks, and action items. - Escalate obstacles and drive resolution across teams. - External Partner Coordination - Support management of CDMOs, CROs, analytical laboratories, and strategic partners. - Track technology transfer activities, sample production campaigns, and development milestones. - Coordinate site visits, audits, and follow-up actions. - Innovation Portfolio Support - Maintain visibility across all development programs and strategic initiatives. - Support prioritization, resource planning, and roadmap development. - Prepare dashboards, presentations, and executive updates. - Process Improvement - Establish project management tools, templates, and best practices. - Improve communication and information flow across departments. - Support implementation of stage-gate and governance processes.
