Director of Marketing Remote Full Time Marketing and Communications Senior Manager/Supervisor Title: Director of Marketing Position Type: Full-time, exempt Location: Remote, within the contiguous United States Compensation: $120,000-$130,000 Reports to: CEO Remote Work Environment About the organization The Institute for Curriculum Services (ICS) is a national nonprofit organization which enriches K-12 education by ensuring accurate, high-quality classroom material and teaching about Jews, Judaism, and Jewish history. We do this by editing textbooks and instructional materials, developing standards-supporting lessons and providing professional development for teachers around the country. Position overview ICS is at an inflection point that requires a focus on effective, strategic, and creative marketing and communications. The Director of Marketing will lead the development and execution of an integrated marketing strategy that advances ICS’s mission and supports key organizational goals. The role combines strategic leadership and planning with hands-on implementation. This is a unique opportunity to join an organization on the cusp of significant growth - allowing for experimentation, thought leadership, and ownership of major initiatives. Primary responsibilities - Lead digital marketing across all channels - website, SEO, AI discoverability, email, social media, word of mouth campaigns, and paid media - with a focus on year-over-year growth in qualified leads and conversions. - Manage the full educator conversion funnel - lead generation, segmentation, nurturing, and follow-up - to move educators from awareness to program completion. - Develop and maintain messaging frameworks, visuals, and compelling content that elevate ICS’s visibility and deepen stakeholder engagement. - Maintain an analytics framework tracking KPIs across channels; translate data into clear narratives that inform leadership decision-making. - Supervise the Marketing and Communications Manager as well as agency and contractor relationships About you - Passionate about ICS’s mission - Experienced, strategic and creative marketing and communications professional - Data oriented with proven analytic expertise - Learning mindset with a collaborative approach - Entrepreneurial with a strong work ethic - Excited about the use, integration, and experimentation related to AI - Desire to deeply understand diverse audiences in order to create resonant messaging - Energized by the opportunity to join a fast-growing organization with ambitious goals You have - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience). - 10+ years in marketing or communications, including leadership accountabilities - Proven track record designing and executing integrated marketing strategies that advance organizational goals. - Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to craft compelling messages for educator and education-sector audiences. - Fluency with digital marketing platforms, social media strategy, and data analytics; ability to make strategic decisions from data insights. - Experience with marketing automation, CRM systems, and audience segmentation. - Technical proficiency with website, design, CRM, social media, marketing and AI tools. - Excellent project and people management skills; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Title: Florida Educator Location: Remote Department: Professional Learning Job Description: About the organization The Institute for Curriculum Services (ICS) is a national nonprofit organization that enriches K-12 education by ensuring accurate, high-quality teaching and classroom materials about Jews, Judaism, and Jewish history. We do this by working with publishers and content developers, developing high-quality instructional materials, and providing professional development to classroom teachers. As part of the ICS Professional Learning team, the Florida Educator performs a variety of functions in support of the organization’s mission, with particular focus on (1) Scaling professional development for educators to support accurate and nuanced classroom instruction, and (2) Increasing educators’ knowledge and confidence to teach Jewish history topics. Additionally, the role serves as a cross-departmental resource to ensure ICS’s professional development and editorial initiatives are informed by legislative and policy developments. Position overview ICS seeks a motivated, dynamic, and innovative education professional to join our Professional Learning team. The Florida Educator will be responsible for establishing and nurturing relationships with potential professional development partners around Florida with the goal of delivering ICS professional development statewide. This position requires regular travel (35%) and flexibility to work evenings and weekends for training events. Primary responsibilities Outreach and Relationship Building - Leverage ICS and personal networks to identify and secure prospective partnerships - Maintain the health and growth of existing state-wide relationships - Convey ICS’s value when talking to different stakeholders - Set up professional development opportunities for schools/districts/other education institutions in Florida Florida K-12 Education Landscape and Policy Awareness - Serve as the organization's expert on the Florida K-12 educational landscape, especially as it relates to instruction about Jews, Judaism, and Jewish history - Keep the team apprised of key legislative and policy developments that impact our work - Identify, interpret, and share insights with relevant departments regarding trends impacting our work or opportunities to consider at the state and district levels Delivering Professional Development - Maintain a deep knowledge of ICS content and professional development offerings - Become an expert ICS workshop presenter, maintaining a high level of professionalism, fluidity, tech capabilities, and engagement - Travel to in-person workshops and conferences, staff exhibition booths, and deliver ICS workshops at conferences Data and Logistics Management - Maintain a list of state-wide conferences and submit tailored proposals to present - Promptly input relationship-building efforts and relevant professional development data in ICS CRM - Book necessary travel arrangements (e.g., flights, hotels, etc.), adhering to ICS travel and budget policies - Promptly submit travel-related expenses for reimbursement Organizational Support - Attend and actively participate in regular meetings with the Director of Professional Learning, the Professional Learning team, and the larger ICS staff. - Manage and contribute to occasional special projects/opportunities as assigned.
