Director, Client Delivery
AMSURG
• Responsible for making initial contact with prospective clients to uncover needs for Medical Billing & Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management services, including Coding, Billing, Payment Posting, AR & Denial Management services, Patient Payment solutions & RCM Analytics • Oversee the management of client delivery and center onboarding relationships, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and performance benchmarks. • Analyze performance data to track and report on CBO efficiency, identifying areas of risk and opportunity for process enhancement. • Conduct regular reviews and meetings with center leaders and CBO operations to assess performance metrics, discuss challenges, and push for continual improvement. • Collaborate closely with the Sr. Director of Third Party to assist with the strategic consolidation of third-party vendors as required based on performance analysis and company direction, optimizing our revenue cycle management. • Foster strong relationships with surgery center administrators, CBO operations, and AMSURG leadership to ensure alignment of revenue cycle strategies. • Serve as a subject matter expert in revenue cycle management, offering guidance and strategic insights to internal stakeholders, operations leadership, surgery center administrators and surgeon partners.
Job Requirements
- Experience as a Revenue Cycle Management leader in system conversions and process improvement.
- Exceptional ability to comfortable speak with and present to prospective clients using proven selling and persuasion skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and vendors in a complex, fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI and Viewgol.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of driving change and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Deep understanding of Medicare/Medicaid and other government payors, as well as commercial insurers and specialty contracts.
- Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in finance, accounting, or healthcare administration.
- Graduate degree preferred. If an individual possesses an MS or MA Graduate Degree in a related field of study, prior experience of 6-8 years in people management and/or healthcare operations or revenue cycle is acceptable.
- Must have 8-10 years management experience in practice administration, client services, third party billing or healthcare reimbursement.
- Previous management experience, preferably in healthcare operations, revenue cycle and/or customer service.
