Role Description We're looking for an experienced, results-driven Account Manager to join our Sales team and manage the Alberta and British Columbia territory. If you're a motivated sales professional who thrives on building relationships, developing new business, and delivering customer-focused solutions, we'd love to hear from you. - Building new business through strategic prospecting and networking - Developing relationships with manufacturers and industrial organizations - Managing an established customer portfolio while expanding existing accounts - Conducting customer meetings, site visits, and product presentations - Identifying opportunities across multiple industries - Collaborating with Customer Service, Production, and Operations to deliver exceptional customer experiences - Managing your pipeline using Salesforce CRM - Preparing quotations and following opportunities through to completion - Representing TC Transcontinental as a trusted business partner throughout your territory Qualifications - 5+ years of outside B2B sales experience (10+ years is considered a strong asset) - Demonstrated success generating new business - Experience selling into industrial, manufacturing, OEM, fleet, construction, transportation, or related industries - Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills - Experience using Salesforce or another CRM - Excellent presentation and communication skills - Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams) - A valid driver's licence and the ability to travel extensively throughout your territory Requirements - You prefer inbound leads over prospecting. - Most of your sales experience has been inside sales or retail sales. - You dislike cold outreach and business development. - You're looking for a primarily office-based position. - You prefer maintaining accounts rather than growing them. - You aren't comfortable travelling regularly throughout your territory.
