RN II – Pediatrics Case Manager

• Assesses member's clinical need against established guidelines and/or standards to ensure that the services provided are medically appropriate to member's needs and aligned with the benefit structure. • Facilitates response to gaps in care and identified high risk members to appropriate settings of care for annual wellness visits including collaboration with treating provider. • Evaluates the necessity, appropriateness and efficiency of medical services and procedures provided for both acute and chronic health care needs. • Develops, coordinates and assists in implementation of individualized plan of care for members and identification of barriers towards Self-Management and optimal wellness. • Coordinates with members, family, physician, hospital and other external customers with respect to the appropriateness of care from diagnosis to outcome. • Monitors member's medical care activities, regardless of the site of service, and outcomes for appropriateness and effectiveness. • Advocates for the member/family among various sites to coordinate resource utilization and evaluation of services provided. • Encourages member participation and compliance in the case/disease management program efforts.
Job Requirements
- Requires an associate's or bachelor's degree (or higher) in nursing and/or a health related field OR accredited diploma nursing school.
- Requires a minimum of two (2) years clinical experience.
- Experience with both acute and chronic conditions preferred.
- Requires a minimum of three (3) years' experience in the health care delivery system/industry.
- Experience with health care payer experience strongly preferred.
- Active Unrestricted RN License Required; NJ License Preferred.
- Requires a valid Driver's License and Insurance.
- Requires proficiency in the use of personal computers and supporting software in a Windows based environment, including MS Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Microsoft Outlook.
- Requires working knowledge of case/care/disease management principles.
- Requires working knowledge of operations of utilization, case and/or disease management processes.
- Requires working knowledge of principles of utilization management.
- Requires basic knowledge of health care contracts and benefit eligibility requirements.
- Requires knowledge of hospital structures and payment systems.
- Bi-lingual proficiency preferred.

Role Description Functions as a Government Lending Resolutions Manager for the Special Assets Department. As a manager, guides and motivates Commercial Resolutions Officers and the Claims Management Team to exceed expectations for case management and resolution along with adherence to policies and procedures governing the department. Conducts business development initiatives and contributes to the generation of new business. In addition to the management role, also has responsibility for a portfolio of loans. Assists the Director of Special Assets in such areas as portfolio review and analysis, quality assurance, internal and external audits, business unit risk identification and management, department procedure changes, and other tasks as assigned by the Director of Special Assets. Success in the role is defined by team and individual efficacy in the department's goals relating to case management and resolution while minimizing expense and loss to the bank, compliance with bank policy and procedures, as well as applicable banking regulations. Role Description ParentsTogether is seeking a compassionate, experienced professional to lead and support The Parents Network (TPN), a community of both bereaved and impacted survivor parents, whose children were harmed by social media, artificial intelligence, and big tech companies. This critical role requires a talented, empathetic individual who can support and empower parents experiencing significant trauma and channel their experiences into meaningful advocacy for policy change and corporate accountability. The Parents Network Manager will oversee TPN, including managing contractors, manage relationships with partners and funders, and build out a new advocacy program for survivor parents. The Parents Network Manager reports to the Director of Online Safety. Key Responsibilities - Manage and oversee The Parents Network program, including managing contractors, ensuring the program is meeting goals, and community needs are being met. - Oversee relationship management with TPN parents, including supporting new community member intake, conducting regular individual and group check-ins, and responding to community needs as they arise. - Ensure parent members utilize the provided mental health resources, grief counseling, peer support groups, and other supportive services of TPN. - Manage relationships with partner organizations, funders, and other key online safety movement shareholders. - Create and maintain a trauma-informed, culturally responsive support infrastructure that honors parents' experiences and needs, and recognize signs of crisis or declining mental health and coordinate appropriate interventions. - Work collaboratively with parent members and online safety movement partner organizations to build and implement an advocacy training program. - Coordinate parent member participation in advocacy opportunities with partner organizations, including meetings with policymakers, direct advocacy to tech companies, and other opportunities. - Prepare parents for media interviews, public speaking, and congressional testimony with trauma-informed coaching. - Collaborate with communications, policy, and campaigns teams to ensure parent voices are centered in organizational strategy and reflected in compelling, culturally resonant content across our media platforms. - Partner with the content and communication teams to identify, develop, and support parent stories for digital content, earned media, and narrative campaigns designed to reach and engage parents beyond traditional advocacy audiences. - Support and implement a comms strategy that tells the story of TPN through earned media, including conducting interviews. - Track and manage all TPN data and metrics. Qualifications - Minimum 5 years of professional experience working directly with impacted communities or individuals experiencing trauma in advocacy, organizing, or social services settings. - A bachelor’s degree in a related field (social work, psychology, sociology, etc.) or commensurate experience. - Demonstrated expertise in trauma-informed practices and working with individuals experiencing trauma, grief, or crisis. - Campaign or advocacy experience, including policy advocacy, corporate accountability work, and/or grassroots organizing. - Experience facilitating support groups or peer networks for individuals with shared experiences of trauma. - Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on active listening and empathy. - Commitment to centering survivor voices and practicing survivor-led advocacy principles. - Strong organizational and project management skills with ability to manage multiple relationships and priorities simultaneously. - Flexibility and adaptability to respond to crisis situations and changing parent needs. - Commitment to equity, inclusion, and anti-racism principles in all aspects of the work. - Experience communicating across differences and engaging audiences with diverse cultural, political, or lived experience is a plus.
