Commercial Kitchen, HVAC/R Service Technician
Smart Care
• Partner with HVAC/R, restaurant and hospitality managers to offer comprehensive service solutions for commercial cooking, refrigeration, ware-washing, and other specialty food service equipment. • Demonstrate your mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills and ability to read diagrams and schematics. • Properly troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Commercial Kitchen Equipment, including cooking, refrigeration, ware-washing and other specialty food service equipment. • Communicate with manufacturers as needed to help with diagnoses and parts identification. • Consult with the Technical Assistance Group for technical support while onsite. • Install all parts ordered for the customer in a timely and professional manner and in line with company policy. • Promote and recommend other services provided by Smart Care to customers when needed. • Produce accurate and timely administrative documents, such as work orders, time reporting, receipts, and truck stock inventory. • Follow safe work practices and accident prevention procedures. • Maintain a neat and orderly service vehicle, along with accurate parts and tool inventory. • Maintain productivity levels in accordance with company standards.
Job Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of technical experience with refrigeration, appliance repair, kitchen equipment, HVAC, or relevant military service
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record
- Willingness and ability to be involved with the emergency on-call rotation that includes nights and weekends
- Availability for occasional overnight travel as assigned.

Field Technician II – Client Onsite

• Maintain the highest quality standards in all assigned data center locations and remote points of presence (POP) • Participate in performing physical installation, repair, maintenance, and testing activities as directed with meticulous attention to driving and maintaining the highest quality standards in the telecommunications industry • Help with performing card adds or replacements, software upgrades, and associated testing • Recommend improvements to processes that may impact the quality of our network assets or improve overall efficiencies for any related process or system • Provide site survey support for OSP and ISP projects, as well as large space & power and/or equipment deployments • Perform site audits and reconcile data discrepancies in coordination with Network Surveillance and other groups as necessary • Support the management of local construction vendors working on behalf of the company to ensure compliance with installation, repair, maintenance MOPs and standards, as well as quality and cleanliness • Meet/coordinate with Local Exchange Carrier (LEC) and other technicians to facilitate timely installation, repair, and maintenance activities as necessary • Perform site surveys in support of network builds, augments, or decommissions • Assist in coordinating site access, equipment staging, and other tasks • Other duties as required
• Inspect wastewater and stormwater lift stations, including testing floats and controls, power, wet well condition, safety, indications of failure or overflow, and repair needs. • Recommend and execute repairs and improvements, providing insight to scope the required equipment, materials, and manpower needed. • Safe work practices are paramount, and the individual will need to adhere to safe work practices, including driving and equipment inspection/maintenance, maintain current training to manage job-specific proficiency for confined-space entry, lockout/tagout, and other related safe work practices. • Use smart phone applications to record inspection, maintenance, timesheets, and expense reports.
