Sales Lead
EnerVenue
• Build the Sales Pipeline: Identify and qualify new sales opportunities through outbound prospecting, inbound lead follow-up, and networking. • Managing weekly reports and documentation in Salesforce.com. • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders to understand their business and their need for EnerVenue’s offerings. • Execute on go to market Sales Strategy with discipline, focus and collaboration with customers. • Demonstrated ability to negotiate and close complex contracts. • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. • Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, Manufacturing, and Deployments teams to ensure customer satisfaction. • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions.
Job Requirements
- Likely spent the first years at a world-renowned company that is in the clean energy ecosystem (e.g., Independent Power Producer, Integrator, EPC, developer or utility at North American company).
- 5 years at a start-up developing renewable energy, energy storage or other clean energy technologies with customers that include utilities, commercial and industrial accounts.
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Business, Engineering or related discipline is required.
- A Master’s in Business Administration or additional technical credentials is strongly desired.
- Expertise in North American electricity markets; 5 years of demonstrated customer-facing sales experience.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Sales with demonstrated track record of closing complex sales cycles, in an early-stage company is desired.
- Experience managing P&L and working to achieve ambitious goals is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in the electric industry – such as renewables, battery, energy storage, automotive, or aerospace industries.

About this opportunity Global Sales within Solution Area Business & Operations Support Systems (SBOS) is created to act as the SBOS primary interface towards the Market Areas during the sales cycle, including creating, qualifying, and leading key opportunities, technical and commercial deliverables till SDP3. It has the responsibility for commercial sign-off for technically complex solutions and proposal deviating from EBD frame. In addition, we bring new offerings to the Market Areas, securing sales & delivery readiness in collaboration with the other key stakeholders. The position reports to the Head of SBOS Global Head of Domain Sales MSIT and ADM. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a strong ability to manage change, inspire, innovate, drive for efficiency, collaborate, be results oriented, a problem-solver in a highly fast-paced, geographically diverse matrix organization working with the latest technologies trends.
