ServiceNow Integration Engineer

CACI International Inc

Role Description CACI is seeking a highly motivated and experienced ServiceNow Integration Engineer supporting the Department of the Air Force (DAF) Enterprise IT as a Service (EITaaS) program. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing integrations between ServiceNow and a variety of enterprise systems, with an initial focus on systems critical to our operational workflows. You will work closely with business stakeholders, ServiceNow developers, and other IT teams to ensure seamless data flow and process automation across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of ServiceNow architecture, integration methodologies, and web service technologies, and will be comfortable working with both established and emerging integration patterns. Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and implement integrations between ServiceNow and various enterprise systems, which may include government / DoD systems, vendor and licensing systems and other enterprise tools. - Utilize ServiceNow integration technologies such as: - REST APIs - SOAP APIs - MID Servers - Integration Hub (Spokes, Flows) - JDBC/ODBC Connections - Email Integration - Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather integration requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Develop and maintain technical documentation, including integration designs, data mappings, and test plans. - Perform thorough testing of integrations to ensure data accuracy and functionality. - Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in a timely manner. - Monitor integration performance and identify opportunities for optimization. - Stay up-to-date on the latest features of ServiceNow and integration of best practices. - Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of coding standards. - Work closely with ServiceNow developers to implement custom solutions and enhancements. - Contribute to the overall architecture and design of the ServiceNow platform. - Automate manual processes using ServiceNow workflows and integrations. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members. Qualifications - U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance - 12+ Years of relevant experience (Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field may be substituted for 5 years of relevant experience) - 3+ years of experience in ServiceNow development and integration - Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture and functionalities - Experience with REST and SOAP APIs - Experience with scripting languages such as JavaScript, Jelly, and AngularJS - Experience with data mapping and transformation - Experience with ServiceNow MID Server configuration and troubleshooting - Experience with Integration Hub and ServiceNow Flow Designer - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification - Experience in integrating with tools and sources for hardware and/or software asset management - Candidate should have a CompTIA Security+ certification or be able to obtain it within 60 days of hire Requirements - Active Secret clearance (Desired) - ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification (Desired) - ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification in one or more modules (e.g., ITSM, HRSD, CSM) (Desired) - Experience with Agile development methodologies (Desired) - Experience with DevOps practices and tools (Desired) - Experience with cloud-based integration platforms (Desired) - Experience with database technologies such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL (Desired) Benefits - Healthcare - Wellness - Financial - Retirement - Family support - Continuing education - Time off benefits Company Description CACI is an Equal Opportunity Employer. The ServiceNow SME will provide expert-level technical leadership throughout the planning, migration, configuration, integration, and sustainment of ServiceNow platforms for secure and air-gapped federal environments. - Design and document ServiceNow system architecture (including DoDAF/FEAF compliance) and technical topography, producing essential as-is, to-be, and transition state architectures. - Architect, implement, and document a secure ServiceNow solution on Nutanix infrastructure, integrated with on-premises Active Directory, YubiKey, and other authentication systems. - Configure and optimize ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, SecOps, ITAM), establish and manage role-based access controls, and remove demonstration data to produce clean, client-ready environments. - Develop and execute data migration strategies, including transformation mapping, ETL processes, and validation using ServiceNow CMDB Health dashboards. - Integrate ServiceNow with third-party solutions (e.g., Tanium, Splunk), configure connectors, manage data imports, and ensure ongoing compliance with federal logging and monitoring requirements. - Work closely with solution center teams and government stakeholders to align technical deliverables, document progress, report risks, and ensure continuous improvement via Agile reviews. - Support O&M operations post-deployment, including configuration updates, health monitoring, instance patching, and iterative enhancements. - Assist with stakeholder training, user adoption efforts, and system acceptance testing. - Produce technical documentation and reports supporting each project phase and deliverable. Qualifications - ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification and/or additional certifications in ITSM, ITOM, SecOps, HAM, or SAM strongly preferred. - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. - Minimum 8 years hands-on experience with ServiceNow implementation, configuration, and sustainment in secure government environments. - Demonstrated expertise with ServiceNow module configuration, system integrations, and large-scale data migrations. - Experience implementing role-based access controls and managing authentication integration (e.g., Active Directory, MFA, YubiKey). - Strong background in ITSM/ITIL methodology and agile/hybrid delivery models. - Proven ability to produce technical architecture documentation in accordance with federal frameworks (DoDAF/FEAF). - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience leading technical discussions and stakeholder briefings. Requirements - Must possess an active Top Secret security clearance.
