Role Description As a Child and Adolescent Intake Therapist at Blackbird Health, you'll play an essential role in delivering high-quality intake evaluations and ongoing therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults. You'll build meaningful connections with patients and families from the very start of their care journey, conducting thorough clinical assessments, developing individualized care plans, and providing consistent, high-quality ongoing treatment. You'll collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to ensure every patient receives seamless, whole-child care from their first session through their entire care journey. This remote role supports our patients' needs for afterschool, evening and weekend sessions. We are offering a sign-on bonus for our founding providers. Qualifications - Independently licensed as a LCPC, LCMFT, LCSW-C, or PsyD/PhD in Maryland - A minimum of 1 year of experience working with children and adolescent patients - A minimum of 1 year of experience working in a telehealth or virtual setting Requirements - Mission-Driven: Passionate about transforming behavioral health for youth and committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care. - Clinically Excellent: Experienced clinician using evidence-based assessment and therapeutic practices with a passion for working with children, adolescents, young adults, and their families. - Relationship-Focused: Excels at building meaningful connections with patients and families from day one and sustaining those relationships over time. - Developmentally & Neurodiverse-Informed: Skilled in conducting clinical assessments and delivering effective psychotherapy across developmental stages and neurodiverse populations. - Collaborative: Thrives in team-based environments and loves engaging with other healthcare professionals and families. - Growth-Oriented: Open to feedback and eager to learn and grow in a supportive clinical community. - Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using technology, including Google Suite, Electronic Medical Records systems, and other virtual platforms. - Flexible & Patient-Centered: Willing to go the extra mile when working with families, with the flexibility to reschedule patients when needed.
