Role Description We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our EMEA Accounting team. In this role, you will play a key part in the monthly close, reporting and variance reviews, and audit processes while ensuring compliance with US GAAP and various local GAAP’s. You will work independently on complex accounting matters and collaborate cross‑functionally with FP&A, Payroll, tax and other finance partners. You’ll also contribute to process improvements, including the use of automation, AI, and data analytics tools. - Ownership of month-end entries, which includes Payroll, Accruals, Open PO review, PO approvals etc. - Ownership of monthly balance sheet reconciliations - Ownership of monthly flux analysis - Partner with FP&A by providing analysis and commentary to support business decisions - Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency, including leveraging automation, AI, Copilot, Alteryx, or similar tools. - Play a key role in the various statutory reporting, audits, and other local compliance of EMEA entities - Ad hoc analysis/projects as requested - Provide guidance and informal mentorship to team members as needed Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or equivalent certification strongly preferred. - 5+ years of accounting experience, including month‑end close and balance sheet ownership. - Strong knowledge of month end accounting process and accounting. - Experience working in a fast‑paced, global or multi‑entity environment. - Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and advanced Excel skills. - Familiarity with AI‑enabled accounting tools; Alteryx, data analytics, or automation tools is a strong plus. - Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and communicate clearly with cross‑functional stakeholders.
