Role Description We're hiring a Head of Data Strategy & Governance to scale our data governance and change practice across Ireland and the UK. You'll be the senior voice on our data strategy work, driving the methodology we recommend to clients and how we run engagements. You'll partner closely with our Head of Data Science, who owns the technology, platforms, and engineering practice, while you own the governance and deployment capability that leads to transformative outcomes for our clients. - Own and grow our governance practice, frameworks, artefacts, and the operating models we recommend to clients. This will span data ownership, stewardship, quality, lineage, classification, retention, and access, and the regulatory overlays specific to Irish and UK health and social care. - Shape and lead our engagement methodology, from discovery and workshops through strategy into delivery. - Lead the change side of client work: stakeholder engagement, adoption, data literacy uplift, standing up governance committees, and operating-model changes. - Hire and grow the team of consultants and analysts who deliver this work across both markets. - Become a trusted advisor to executive sponsors, DPOs, CIOs, Heads of Quality and Regulation, and boards. Build relationships that position Stalis as a long-term partner. Qualifications - Experience with either the Irish or UK regulatory environment for health and social care data. - Demonstrated track record of building and leading delivery teams and methodology in a consultancy, advisory, or internal transformation setting. - Senior-level client presence: fluent with executives and boards, while credible with technical and regulatory specialists. Requirements - You've elevated and deployed our governance practice assets to a repeatable state at customers across both Irish and UK regulatory contexts. - You've led or co-led two to three named client engagements as the senior governance and change voice. - You've hired and onboarded additional team members to scale our deployment capability. - You've established a visible point of view on data governance in Irish and UK health and social care. - You've led or designed data governance programmes end to end (operating model, committees, roles, tooling decisions, and change management). - You can build and execute a plan to reach capability and credibility in the other market within 12 months. Role Description This internship sits in the Office of the CEO and supports a high-priority strategic programme. You will work directly with the Strategy Manager on fast-moving, live analytical workstreams - your contribution will directly inform decisions at the top of the business. This is not a shadow role.
