Role Description We are hiring for our sister app Dostt, an audio and video platform. Currently, we operate in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, Punjabi, Marathi, Oriya & Bengali. Having built a strong base in India, we are now launching in the Philippines, our first locally-sourced international market, operating in Tagalog (Filipino) and English. As we expand into this new market, we are seeking an Associate - Supply Operations Manager, who will be one of the founding members on the ground for Dostt Philippines, responsible for managing the operational supply of community hosts and key contributors. You will work closely with community teams, supply-side partners, Trust & Safety, and Hosts to maintain a healthy and vibrant community that enhances user engagement and retention. You will also be contributing in Tagalog-language content moderation and serve as the primary translation and localization bridge between our central product and operations teams and the local market. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Community Management, Business Administration, or a related field. - 2+ years of experience in community management, operations, or supply chain roles, with a focus on audio/video content or social platforms. - Must be fluent in Tagalog & English (Read, Write & Speak). - Strong understanding of community dynamics in 1:1 calling environments, including experience managing hosts and content contributors. - Proficiency in analytics tools, community management platforms, and audio/video calling technologies. - Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. - Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Requirements - Handle a team of Philippines TCs (Telecallers) up to a defined level when required & Performance Monitoring & Data Analysis. - Identify, onboard, and manage Filipino hosts and key contributors for 1:1 Audio/Video calls, building the local supply base from the ground up. - Develop and execute strategies to recruit and retain high-quality talent that aligns with the platform’s goals and resonates with Filipino users. - Ensure there is an adequate supply of live hosts and contributors to meet community demands and peak hours accounting for Philippine time zones and local usage patterns. - Oversee day-to-day operations of 1:1 Audio/Video calls, ensuring that sessions run smoothly and are staffed adequately. - Monitor host performance, providing feedback, support, and resources to ensure optimal community engagement. - Track and analyze key metrics such as call duration, host active days, active hours, host call pick up rate, and overall host performance. - Use data to forecast demand and adjust supply strategies, ensuring that hosts have the right talent to drive engagement on call for user satisfaction and retention. - Report regularly on community performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement and feeding local insight back to the central team. - Develop and implement training programs for hosts to enhance their communication skills, engagement techniques, and adherence to community guidelines. - Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth among hosts, encouraging innovation and creativity in their calls. - Develop strategies to expand the host and contributor base to new markets and languages across the Philippines. - Work on initiatives to grow active users and enhance the overall user experience & host growth. - Own Tagalog translation and localization across the launch's operational surfaces. - Build and maintain a Tagalog glossary and style guide. - QA all Tagalog-facing surfaces in the app and act as the final language check before anything ships to Filipino users. - Be the real-time language bridge in day-to-day operations. Benefits - We’re scaling fast with strong fundamentals. - Mission to empower millions through AI and access. - Ownership from day one. - Build for real impact. - Help redefine the roadmap of how India connects to opportunities, knowledge, and experts.
