You will be on a high-volume call-dialer selling office, mailing, and shipping consumable supplies. We reward sales success with rapid promotional opportunities, spiffs, and performance-based commission. The total target compensation for this position is $50,000 annually at 100% quota attainment. However, many of our sales team members earn $60,000-$65,000 or more annually by exceeding their targets. Location: U.S. Remote, Central Time Zone or Eastern Time Zone (Preferred: Florida, Texas, Wisconsin). You are: Self-motivated, goal-driven, resilient, and persuasive. A performance-driven contributor who can multi-task with two phone systems, for both outbound and inbound calling, and apply inside sales techniques to recommend products and close sales. You excel at quickly building rapport over the phone, asking qualifying questions to assess needs, and recommending appropriate postage meter supplies to key decision makers at current Pitney Bowes clients. You are comfortable with a high-volume, high-rejection position. You will: - Close Sales to clients’ satisfaction: - Sell Pitney Bowes Postage Meters and office, mailing, and shipping consumable supplies to existing business clients via high volume outbound calling. - Overcome objections by positioning product benefits, current promotions, and the company’s value proposition. - Cultivate your work environment: - Participate in at least one team development activity, new employee mentorship, committee, training, or volunteer activity each year. - Partner with internal teams to resolve all errors and client escalations. - Achieve quota and productivity goals: - Consistently achieve monthly sales quotas, understanding that high-productivity KPIs (e.g. 150-200 calls per day), punctuality, and dependable attendance is critical to success. - Rapidly navigate complex software systems to accurately record customer transactions and create invoices with an error rate of less than 6% each month. - Exceed quotas and client expectations: - Identify and implement changes needed to improve performance. - Raise the bar for yourself, your team, and the client. Your background: As a Supplies TeleSales Agent, you have: - 1+ years of sales or customer service experience with a strong track record of exceeding goals set by others (sales, sports, etc.). - Proven core sales skills, including resiliency, overcoming objections, closing sales, and both recognizing and identifying opportunity in difficult situations. - Intermediate PC skills, with a strong ability to work in multiple screens simultaneously. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer and internet troubleshooting. - Home office/desk with reliable high-internet service sufficient to meet the needs of the position. All computer equipment and peripherals will be provided. - Available to work Monday through Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm Central Time. Preferred - Track record of success penetrating and maintaining accounts – B2B, inside sales, telemarketing. - 1 year experience, with consistent success, in outbound/phone sales. - Proven success working from home. To be successful working remote, you must: - Have a secure, quiet, distraction-free area at home in which to focus on work and protect client data - Have dependent and child-care arrangements - Be comfortable primarily communicating with colleagues via videoconference - Be as productive (if not more) working from home as in office - Be able to work independently with little direction - Have the technology to work successfully at home - Reliable high-speed internet - In-house, hard-wired internet connection - Internet Service Speeds, while working, must support a minimum 30 Mbps download - Check your current speed at www.speedtest.net; ongoing checks once working are required Compensation: The wage for this position is $15.87 / hour base plus uncapped commission pursuant to the Pitney Bowes sales incentive plan's terms and conditions. Reporting to the VP, US TTR Sales, the successful candidate will be part of the U.S. sales leadership team responsible for the driving performance with AMVUTTRA® (vutrisiran) for the treatment of polyneuropathy of hATTR and the recently expanded indication in cardiomyopathy in ATTR. The successful candidate will play a key role in the U.S. leading the sales organization to deliver against the AMVUTTRA territory, area and national goals. They will be responsible for TTR product commercialization through diligent talent selection, leadership and oversight of our field based TTR Regional Business Directors with appropriate coordination across Alnylam Assist® (our in-house Patient Support Services team), Field Reimbursement, Training, Business Operations, Legal and Compliance.
