Business Development Manager, Industrial Solutions

• Identify, target and secure new customers and application opportunities across the Non-Food segments in Europe, including Plastics, Personal care and adjacent markets • Drive new business development while managing selected strategic accounts • Build and maintain a strong and accurately forecasted sales pipeline, from lead generation through contract closure • Lead customer meetings and commercial discussions with a strong technical foundation in polymer technologies • Translate customer needs into value driven solution proposals in collaboration with Application, R&D and Product Management teams • Support the commercial introduction and rollout of new innovations • Monitor market trends and competitive movements to uncover new growth opportunities
Job Requirements
- Degree in Polymer Technology, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
- Strong technical understanding of polymers/ biopolymers and polymer based applications in commercial settings
- Proven experience in technical sales, account management or similar commercial roles within Personal Care ingredients, specialty chemicals, or formulation‑driven industries
- A proactive, opportunity oriented commercial mindset with strong relationship building skills
- Fluent English communication skills, additional European language skills are an advantage
- Willingness to travel across the region at least 50% of the time
