Job Requirements
- Work experience of 3-5 years with a proven skill set across various Microsoft server platforms/integrations.
- Proven ability to communicate at multiple levels of a mid-size to enterprise-level organization.
- Citrix administration experience (VDA, Storefront, Delivery Controllers).
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2019/2022/2025 platforms.
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory (Design, Migration, Troubleshooting, Configurations).
- Basic knowledge of SQL Server.
- Experience supporting environments running on VMware ESXi , Azure, AWS.
- Solid troubleshooting methodology.
- Basic knowledge of DNS, Ports, Windows Firewall.
- Experience leveraging RMM tools, HCL BigFix (or experience in SolarWinds N-able, ConnectWise Automate).
- Advanced experience supporting/implementing complex Windows/Citrix environments is a plus.
- Windows Server Certifications (MCITP, MCP).
- Management of Windows instances/services on various platforms.
- Netscaler experience.
- Experience navigating monitoring tool platforms such as Solarwinds, ScienceLogic, Zabbix, etc.

This role sits within the Finance Transformation, BI & Systems team under the Controllership and serves as a key liaison between Finance, IT, and cross-functional stakeholders. The ideal candidate combines hands-on finance systems expertise with strong project leadership and the ability to translate business needs into scalable technology solutions. The Finance Technology Manager owns the intersection of finance process transformation and systems architecture. You will design and optimize finance technology solutions, lead cross-functional implementation workstreams, and help shape the long-term evolution of SoFi’s finance system ecosystem. From close cycle acceleration and reconciliation automation to system integrations and AI tool adoption, you will manage complex initiatives end-to-end with a focus on measurable, scalable outcomes. What you’ll do: - Design and help maintain the finance technology architecture and system ecosystem roadmap, ensuring alignment with business strategy and near-term operational needs - Partner closely with the Workday team to coordinate system enhancements, integrations, and ensure Workday aligns with broader finance technology strategy - Architect and document integrations and data flows between Workday and adjacent finance systems including reconciliation platforms, expense and procurement tools, BI platforms, and analytics solutions - Lead or support subledger identification, reconciliation design, and GL mapping initiatives, ensuring accurate and auditable transaction flow from source systems through to the general ledger - Evaluate and recommend financial technologies and tools to address gaps and drive innovation across the finance function - Lead process automation initiatives leveraging RPA, AI, and workflow tools to streamline finance operations - Identify system redundancies and optimization opportunities across the finance technology stack - Partner with Finance, Accounting, Procurement, Technology, and enterprise architecture teams to gather requirements, evaluate solutions, and maintain alignment with business goals and internal controls - Support month-end and quarter-end close processes through cross-system coordination and troubleshooting - Lead and deliver finance transformation initiatives with a focus on close cycle reduction, process automation, and scalable system design - Support the Finance AI Operating Model by contributing to discovery, build, and deployment of AI and automation use cases within the Finance function - Coordinate M&A integration workstreams impacting Finance systems, data, and processes as needed - Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation including system design specifications, integration requirements, process workflows, and architectural decision records What you'll need: - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field; CPA, MBA, or equivalent certification a plus - 8+ years of experience in finance systems, finance technology, or finance transformation roles, preferably in high-growth or technology-driven environments - Strong working knowledge of Workday Financials including chart of accounts structure, GL configuration, and integration capabilities a plus - Hands-on experience with reconciliation platforms such as Cadency/Trintech; familiarity with subledger reconciliation and GL mapping workflows a plus - Broad familiarity with the finance technology landscape including data warehousing and analytics (Snowflake), financial planning tools, expense and procurement systems (Coupa), and BI and reporting platforms (Tableau/Rollstack) - Demonstrated ability to create clear system and data flow diagrams (current and future state) using tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or similar - Experience architecting or supporting system integrations, APIs, and middleware platforms in a finance context - Familiarity with process automation tools (RPA, workflow automation) and AI/ML applications in finance - Understanding of data architecture principles and experience working with data warehousing or analytics platforms - Proven ability to manage complex, competing-priority projects with a structured and organized approach - Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority and translate technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences - Experience supporting financial close processes and a working understanding of close automation opportunities - Experience in financial services, fintech, or a publicly traded company environment is a plus Compensation and Benefits The base pay range for this role is listed below.
