Sales Manager – DoD

• Responsible for leading and managing a team of 7 senior account managers • Managing the sales efforts of the company’s highly technical products and services • Enabling sellers to grow their existing business, find new opportunities, and achieve their quota goals

Job Requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience leading DoD sales teams
  • Experience in Space Force and Navy accounts preferred
  • Experience in understanding the workings of account contracting processes and purchasing vehicles
  • Experience in cybersecurity solutions selling
  • Knowledge of cross domain solutions, zero trust, and multi-level security (MLS)
  • Knowledge of industry/clients to recommend updates or changes to product/service offerings
  • Experience in large, complex, high visibility, and strategic accounts
  • Utilizes strong knowledge of product/service and industry to identify and evaluate client needs and recommend the best solution
  • Large network of contacts with highly visible industry presence
  • Bachelors degree required

Role Description The Regional Sales Executive is responsible for selling HealthEquity’s core products in a defined region. This includes: - Prospect identification - Pipeline development - Contract closing for distribution into HealthEquity’s current partner base and direct to employers This role supports small, medium, and large groups (251 to 3,500 US Based Employees) and typically reports to an Associate Vice President (AVP) Regional Sales. The assigned region is TN, AL, MS, LA, and AR, with a preference for applicants in the TN area and/or Northern Alabama. What you’ll be doing: - Drive sales growth by collaborating with partners, brokers, and employers in an assigned territory. - Support enablement of partners’ sales and account management personnel on the HealthEquity Solution. - Develop support materials for partners, brokers, and employers. - Collaborate with marketing and account management to maintain the Sales website. - Plan and participate in territory seminars and webinars. - Have specific knowledge around HSA, CDB accounts, COBRA, Wellness Products, and internal processes. - Cultivate and grow broker relationships within the territory. - Work collaboratively with internal cross-functional teams. - Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on HSA/CDB in sales meetings. - Attend open enrollment meetings to increase HSA/CDB adoption. - Support responses to RFPs, coordinating with the AVP Regional Sales and RFP team. - Work with AVP to identify key employer prospects with US-based employees. - Present at finalist meetings to prospects. - Identify, attend, and lead sales and marketing efforts at regional conferences. - Create, track, and maintain a strategic plan and update internal systems for reporting. Qualifications - Documented history of successful sales and/or account management. - Sales experience with health, group, life, disability, or ancillary insurance products. - Established relationships with brokers and general managing agents in key markets. - Direct sales experience with CDHP/CDB and HSA products. - Comprehensive knowledge of HSA, HRA, FSA, commuter, COBRA, 401k, and wellness products. - Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in healthcare or employee benefits. - 3+ years of experience in the employee benefits and healthcare industry. - Demonstrated commitment to exceptional customer service. - Proven adaptability to evolving business demands and market changes. - Exceptional interpersonal skills for building and maintaining relationships. - Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. - Ability to effectively train and enable health plan sales and account management teams. - Capacity to strategically engage with top brokers and benefit consultants. - Experience as a broker or consultant and/or strategically selling to brokers. - Strong work ethic, effective time management, and clear personal communication skills. - Commitment to continuous learning and staying abreast of industry trends. - Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills. - Robust negotiation skills to secure favorable outcomes. - Hold active insurance license in life/health, desired.
