Senior Educator, Clinical Writing
DaVita Kidney Care
• Responsible for the creation, management, & support of clinical policies and procedures (P&P), training programs curriculum, accreditation documents, as well as other content to educate clinical teammates. • Optimizes knowledge transfer through new and ongoing training program updates reflecting the most current clinical P&Ps and evidence-based practice guidelines, accreditation standards, and care/case management models. • Builds partnerships with key teammates across departments to align cross-functional initiatives. • Ensures processes, programs, and special projects are efficiently developed and successfully launched.
Job Requirements
- 4 to 6 years of relevant clinical writing experience (clinical training modules or clinical research writing)
- Registered Nurse License required
- An advanced level of understanding of clinical policies and procedures required
- Someone who is autonomous and a self-starter required
- Excellent grammar, punctuation, spelling, etc. required
- Intermediate to Advanced Word, Excel, and Microsoft Teams preferred

Role Description In AAAS’s gold open access journal Science Advances, Editorial Coordinators (ECs) play a wide range of critical roles in the processing of the individual manuscripts that comprise the journal each week. ECs work collaboratively with a team of Senior Editorial Coordinators, Editorial Associates, and Editorial Managers to process manuscripts from submission to end publication, serving as points of contact and problem-solvers for internal editorial and production staff as well as external editors, authors, and reviewers. To achieve their goal of maintaining rapid, high-quality processing of manuscripts, ECs interact with external authors, editors, and reviewers on a daily basis by: - Answering questions - Assisting with the peer review process - Ensuring quality of final galley proofs They also communicate and coordinate with internal staff and vendors to identify and help address problems so that manuscripts move smoothly through the review and production system according to institutional standards and guidelines. ECs are responsible for managing submissions for 1-2 Deputy Editor groups. Location Requirement: This position is remote; however, candidates must be based in or willing to relocate to the DMV (D.C., Maryland, Virginia) area.
