Senior Compliance Contract Specialist

Health Plans, Inc.

• Serve as a subject matter expert and strategic partner responsible for the end-to-end development, drafting, and management of client Administrative Services Agreements (ASAs) and related contract documents. • Exercise a high degree of independent judgment in ensuring that ASAs and related contract documents are issued in a timely and accurate fashion. • Collaborate closely with Compliance leadership and cross-functional partners to deliver high-quality, compliant, and scalable contract solutions. • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of client contracts, including drafting, revision, execution, and ongoing management of ASAs. • Establish and maintain contract governance standards, ensuring consistency, compliance, and alignment with organizational objectives. • Mentor and provide guidance to less experienced team members. • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, reduce cycle times, and strengthen compliance controls. • Provide guidance and consultative support to internal stakeholders on contract terms. • Partner with Client Services, Sales, Compliance, and other departments to resolve contract-related issues and ensure alignment on client deliverables. • Oversee tracking and reporting of ASA contract status, ensuring timely distribution of ASA contracts to internal stakeholders.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in contract management and/or compliance, preferably in a healthcare or employee benefits administration environment
  • Advanced knowledge of ASAs and related contractual frameworks
  • Strong understanding of federal and state regulatory requirements impacting self-funded health plans
  • Experience leading process improvement, standardization, or operational initiatives
  • Professional certifications in compliance, contracts, or legal disciplines (e.g., CHC, CRCM, JD)
  • Superior analytical skills
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task highly detailed work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to establish and maintain rapport and collaborate effectively with internal staff at all levels as well as with clients, brokers and regulatory agency contacts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with contract management systems and document tracking tools

Role Description The Environmental Advisor serves as the corporate subject matter expert for environmental compliance across AFNA’s manufacturing network. This role is responsible for developing and standardizing environmental programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting site execution through auditing, training, and technical guidance. Role Description The Concurrent Review Case Manager is responsible for telephonic monitoring and the documentation of medical treatment and comparing it to established criteria to determine if treatment meets established guidelines.
