Role Description We are seeking an experienced and patient-focused Virtual Medical Receptionist / Medical Administrative Assistant to join a busy Pain Management and Musculoskeletal Medicine practice. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional patient experience through outstanding communication, professionalism, and compassionate service. This position is ideal for someone with prior experience supporting U.S.-based medical practices, particularly in specialty care. The majority of our patients are older adults, so excellent English communication, clear pronunciation, and a polished, friendly phone presence are essential. The ideal candidate is highly organized, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys helping patients while supporting providers and the clinical team remotely. Qualifications - Speaks English fluently with exceptional pronunciation and articulation. - Has little to no noticeable accent and communicates clearly with an older patient population. - Is warm, personable, and confident on the phone. - Understands the workflow of specialty medical practices. - Builds rapport quickly and creates a positive patient experience. - Demonstrates professionalism, empathy, and a solutions-oriented mindset. - Is highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable. - Thrives in a fast-paced remote healthcare environment. - Takes initiative and works well both independently and as part of a team. - Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Receptionist, Medical Administrative Assistant, Patient Care Coordinator, or similar healthcare administrative role. - Experience supporting a U.S.-based medical practice. - Excellent spoken English with minimal to no noticeable accent. - Outstanding pronunciation and professional phone etiquette. - Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills. - Experience handling high-volume inbound and outbound patient calls. - Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities. - Ability to work independently in a remote environment. - Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
