Architectural, MEP Drafting & Admin Assistant
The Hello Team
• Create, revise, and update drafts and technical drawings using AutoCAD • Ensure accuracy and clarity of all drawings in accordance with U.S. standards • Upload drafts, drawings, and supporting files into the internal system • Prepare and generate invoices • Manage billing, payroll and collections activities as needed • Assist with online presence tasks (posting, updates, content formatting, etc.) • Complete required compliance training • Perform basic bookkeeping tasks using FreshBooks (training will be provided) • Create 2D technical drawings and 3D models based on project requirements • Interpret and modify architectural, structural, mechanical, or electrical drawings as needed • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to ensure accuracy and feasibility • Revise designs based on feedback and client specifications • Optimize CAD files for manufacturing, construction, or presentation purposes • Stay up to date with CAD software advancements and best practices • Order materials and any other office tasks as needed • Perform other ongoing administrative tasks as needed to support operations
Job Requirements
- Advanced English level (verbal and written)
- Strong and clear communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with cross-functional teams, internal leaders, providers, and potential clients
- Proficient in drafting using AutoCAD (2D & 3D)
- Drafting & Drawing experience specifically for U.S.-based clients
- Handle takeoffs and project documentation
- Experience in both architectural work and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems
- Familiarity with FreshBooks is a plus (training will be provided)
- Experience with other CAD software (Revit, SolidWorks, SketchUp, etc.) is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Microsoft Excel) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets)
- Strong understanding of technical drawings, blueprints, and drafting standards
- Experience in one or more industries such as architecture, construction, manufacturing, or engineering
- Ability to multitask, manage competing priorities, and meet project deadlines
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Highly responsible, organized, and reliable
- Sound judgment and the capacity to comprehend and execute instructions promptly with minimal supervision
- Reliable computer (Windows 10 or newer), two monitors, and stable high-speed internet.
