Role Description Harris Healthcare, a division of Harris, is seeking an Intern, Research Analyst, Mergers & Acquisitions who will play a critical role on the M&A team, supporting our M&A process and gaining valuable experience during their time with us. This remote role welcomes candidates anywhere in the US. Preference will be given to candidates who can work in EST or CST timezone. This position will work up to 20 hours per week. Wage: $20/hr USD AI & Innovation Mindset: - Committed to leveraging emerging technologies to improve workflows, serve customers, and drive business outcomes. - Demonstrate curiosity and a willingness to actively adopt and leverage AI tools. - Comfortable using AI-enabled technologies, including copilots, chat-based AI assistants, and automation tools. What your impact will be: - Majority (>80%): - Qualify Prospects - Understand and use our preferred investment profile for rigorous screening of prospects. - Carve Out - Deconstruct large multinational corporations and identify carve out opportunities. - Big Data - Monitor, manage and maintain data quality in our CRM to track key KPIs & dashboards. - Research - Perform market research in new verticals and new geographies in support of our continued growth. - M&A Advisors - Map out all relevant software M&A advisors from international to regional boutique. - Data sources - Identify & analyze relevant 3rd party data sources, industry lists and trade conferences. - Minority (<20%): - Supporting M&A transactions - Aid due diligence (market analysis, contract review, financial analysis) to incorporate in bottom-up multi scenario financial modelling and assist with preparing our investment memo's. - Ad Hoc - research projects with Group Presidents/M&A Heads to support deployment efforts. Qualifications - Currently pursuing undergraduate in business/finance/engineering, or an MBA. Requirements - Track record of inquisitiveness and curiosity. - Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and comfort manipulating big data from multiple sources. - Pursuit of professional designation (CFA/CPA) considered an asset. SOSi is seeking a Jr. Geospatial Research Analyst to support mission requirements for a structured approach to further develop, integrate, and sustain a scalable, federated data ecosystem that enhances interoperability, governance, and mission-driven analytics for a DoD customer. Essential Job Duties: - Assist in data acquisition, geospatial layer management, and quality control of GIS datasets. - Perform metadata tagging, source verification, and initial processing of geospatial research inputs. - Support dashboard updates, map production, and research documentation efforts. - Contribute to the Geospatial Data Readiness Report, summarizing data preprocessing efforts and metadata alignment.
