Role Description We are looking for a Human Resources Manager who can be a trusted advisor in providing HR leadership and guidance in supporting an extensive (remote) results-oriented corporate organization. The ideal candidate will be an integral part of the cross-functional HR team and be able to operate in a high-growth and fast-paced business within a highly complex matrixed to vertically integrated (design to distribution) organization. The Human Resources Manager will be critical in delivering key HR initiatives and change management initiatives aimed at enabling Luxottica’s workforce in mobilizing on key business priorities and strategy. Major Duties and Responsibilities - Partner closely with the corporate force to resolve issues and provide direction that drives business value. - Act as point of contact in resolving and managing employee relations issues, complaints, and investigations in order to move toward resolution. - Work with line leaders to bridge talent gaps and coverage for LOA vacancies. - Develop innovative ideas for HR initiatives, create action plans, and build consensus among cross-functional teams and client groups to move projects forward. - Advise Corporate leaders on how to drive corporate performance and motivation to achieve positive business results. - Collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional partners to provide client groups seamless HR support and talent optimization. - Contribute to workforce planning and organizational design solutions. - Provide input and guidance on succession planning to promote internal growth opportunities and build talent pipeline. - Foster a high-performing, results-driven culture by being able to performance manage and engage in disciplinary action when deemed appropriate. - Challenge the status quo and proactively identify/develop solutions that positively impact the workforce. - Partner with the business in executing change management strategies and behavioral adoption. - Work closely with cross-functional HR team to deliver key HR initiatives: Recruitment, Onboarding, Performance Management, Compensation planning, Benefit Administration, Engagement & Retention, Training & Development, and Succession Planning. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in related field required or relevant experience. - 5 to 8 years of prior Human Resources Management experience, supporting a corporate population preferred. - Agile learner and flexible in order to adapt to a highly entrepreneurial dynamic environment. - Significant knowledge of HR policies and processes (e.g., workforce planning and talent management). - Strong communication skills and ability to influence. - Aptitude to engage, inspire, and influence people. - Ability to identify opportunities and proactively lead and drive change. - Strong business acumen and organizational agility. - Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. - Functions comfortably and effectively in an entrepreneurial and high-growth environment. - Understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws/regulations. Preferred Qualifications - Previous experience supporting independent contractors and hourly employees is a plus. - Knowledge of commission/variable incentives compensation programs is a plus. - Canadian/employment labor law a plus. - SAP/ADP HRIS System knowledge a plus.
