• Lead and oversee the full suite housekeeping operation on board Amangati, ensuring all suites are serviced, turned down, and presented to the highest Aman standard at all times — immaculate, considered, and personalized to each guest’s preferences and profile. • Manage, schedule, and develop the suite attendant team, ensuring appropriate coverage across all suites at all hours, efficient rotation during turnaround, and consistent delivery of Aman’s housekeeping standards throughout each voyage. • Conduct regular suite and cabin inspections across all guest accommodation, crew cabins, and officer cabins, and ensure all deep-cleaning programmes, pre-embarkation preparations, and end-of-voyage clearances are planned, executed, and completed to full standard. • Maintain accurate records of all suite inspection outcomes, maintenance requests, and follow-up actions liaise closely with the technical team to ensure all defects are reported, tracked, and resolved without delay. • Manage all guest amenities, minibar, and in-suite consumable stock levels, ensuring correct par levels are maintained, replenishment is timely, and all items meet Aman at Sea’s specifications. • Ensure full compliance with all USPH, ISM, and Aman at Sea hygiene and sanitation standards across all housekeeping operations, including infection prevention protocols and outbreak management procedures. • Hold full operational responsibility for the onboard laundry, ensuring efficient, high-quality processing of all guest laundry, crew uniforms, officer laundry, linen, and toweling, and that all items are handled with care and returned within service timeframes. • Manage linen stock across all categories, monitor condition and replacement cycles, and ensure the laundry facility and equipment are maintained, operated correctly, and any faults reported without delay. • Ensure the impeccable cleanliness, presentation, and appropriate set-up of all public areas aboard Amangati at all times, supported by structured cleaning schedules, regular inspection rounds, and close coordination with all departments. • Oversee the cleaning and presentation of all outdoor deck areas, pool surrounds, sun decks, and al fresco spaces, ensuring all areas are correctly set up and guest-ready from the start of each day. • Own the floral and decorative programme aboard Amangati, including planning, sourcing, monitoring condition, adapting for special occasions, and managing budgets in line with agreed parameters while maintaining the Aman aesthetic. • Lead, inspire, and develop all team members within the Rooms Division, managing scheduling, performance, training, and induction, and liaising with the Director of Human Resources to ensure welfare, compliance, and a high-performance, people-first culture.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 7–10 years of progressive housekeeping or rooms division experience, with at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership role within an ultra-luxury hotel or small luxury cruise line.
  • Demonstrated experience managing the full scope of a rooms division operation, including suite servicing, laundry, public area cleaning, linen management, and amenity stock control, across a complex multi-area environment.
  • A genuine eye for detail and an exacting personal standard of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Experience overseeing a floral or decorative programme, or a proven aesthetic sensibility and the confidence to manage the visual presentation of a vessel’s shared spaces to the Aman standard.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a multicultural team of team members in a shipboard environment, maintaining high morale, consistent performance, and strong team cohesion throughout a voyage.
  • Sound working knowledge of USPH regulations, ISM requirements, and shipboard hygiene and sanitation standards, including infection prevention and outbreak management procedures.
  • Organized and operationally disciplined, with strong stock management, scheduling, and documentation skills comfortable with the administrative demands of a multi-area department.
  • Collaborative and communicative a director who works effectively across departments and understands that the rooms division’s work is most visible when every other department’s operation runs smoothly around it.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required additional language skills are an advantage.
