Technical Services Executive – Construction
Applied Technology Group
• Lead structured discovery conversations with customers to uncover current-state challenges, future-state goals, and technical constraints • Use Miro boards to roadmap current and future opportunities, visually capturing scope, sequencing, dependencies, and value • Translate discovery outcomes into clear, outcome-driven Statements of Work (SOWs) • Act as the primary services seller for Technical Services engagements • Qualify, shape, and close services opportunities, either independently or in partnership with Business Development Executives • Serve as the primary owner of the decision gate between scope delivery and project kickoff • Collaborate with Technical Services leadership to validate scope feasibility and resource requirements prior to commitment • Contribute to the evolution of ATG’s services offerings, discovery frameworks, and scoping standards
Job Requirements
- Experience selling professional or technical services in a consultative, solution-oriented role
- Proven expertise in services discovery, scoping, and Statement of Work development
- Demonstrated ability to close complex services engagements
- Strong ability to translate technical concepts into business value
- Excellent client-facing communication, facilitation, and documentation skills
- High degree of ownership, accountability, and comfort operating with ambiguity
- Experience within the AEC industry or adjacent technology-driven industries (preferred)
- Familiarity with Autodesk solutions such as Revit, ACC, BIM 360, or AutoCAD (preferred)
- Background in architecture, engineering, construction technology, BIM/VDC, or technical consulting (preferred)
- Experience working alongside Business Development Executives in a services-led sales motion (preferred)
- Familiarity with CRM systems and services forecasting processes (preferred)
