Role Description We are looking for a highly analytical person in the capacity of Tax Accountant. This will suit someone who is interested in international tax, deferred tax and accounting, working as part of an international team across time zones and regions, with high volumes and a pressurized environment. The tax accountant will specialize in tax accounting, understanding tax groups, legal entity and consolidated tax reporting using tax software. - Own the Preparation of Deferred Taxation Verification packages for non-US entities, including: - Prepare and review US GAAP to Statutory Balance Sheet reconciliations. - Perform Statutory Accounts to Taxation reconciliations and ensure accuracy of local filings. - Manage Deferred Tax balances and supporting schedules. - Handle tax group payable arrangements, intercompany journal entries, and related eliminations. - Prepare and review year-end tax provision calculations under the US GAAP framework. - Provide ongoing support to the US Corporate Tax Reporting team. - Collaborate with Financial Controllers and local finance teams to resolve tax-related queries. - Continuously improve tax accounting processes, implementing efficiencies and automation where possible.
