Role Description We are seeking a Staff Commercial Data Engineer to architect and elevate the Marketing and Revenue Management data platforms that power commercial decision-making across Gaming, Hospitality, Loyalty, and Marketing. This is a senior technical role responsible for defining the architectural direction of our Lakehouse ecosystem, ensuring reliability and governance standards, and mentoring engineering teams to build world-class data products. As the architectural owner of domain-wide data models and certified datasets, you will drive metric consistency, platform scalability, and business-aligned data solutions in close partnership with Data Science, Analytics, IT, and commercial leadership. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: - Serve as the architectural owner for Marketing and Revenue Management data models, metric definitions, and semantic consistency across commercial domains. - Design and maintain certified, curated datasets aligned to business logic and executive reporting standards. - Architect and optimize high-scale Lakehouse solutions for performance, governance, cost, and lineage. - Define conventions for partitioning, Z-ordering, file compaction, cluster sizing, and workload orchestration. - Build reusable ingestion, validation, and orchestration frameworks. - Establish observability standards including freshness SLAs, anomaly detection, and schema drift monitoring. - Implement automated quality gates, impact analysis, and self-healing workflows. - Own performance tuning strategies across batch, streaming, and high-volume analytics workloads. - Lead high-severity incident response and drive long-term remediation strategies. - Mentor engineers and influence cross-functional platform modernization initiatives. Role Description Ensure applications and infrastructure systems remain operational for MGM Resorts International. Provide second and third level support to resolve any operational concerns with the applications and systems in accordance with established SLAs. - Perform complex systems root cause analysis of problems and incidents associated with applications and services within the corporate environments. - Implement technical solutions that provide for self‐healing and high availability of all applications installed at MGMRI. - Receive and resolve escalations from the Operations Center L1 Analyst. - Receive and resolve application escalations from Tier 1 third party vendors personnel. - Provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) level of application‐level issues. - Responsible for attending project meetings and facilitating meetings as required. - Understand system/application topology to include interfacing systems. - Attend strike teams as an escalation point. - Provide KBA’s and assistance in providing Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) and responses from Tier 1 & Tier 2. - Create and maintain documentation related to applications and application issues. - Document issues that are awaiting code releases to resolve. - Attend training on applications and technical skills. - Work with IT groups, Vendors, and Business users. - Escalate issues for resolution (and provide follow‐up) to Tier 3 (MGM Enterprise Architecture, In‐house Development staff, Infrastructure Engineering, OEM and application vendors). - Provide technical leadership to more junior application engineers. - Provide high level knowledge and mentoring in version control systems. - Provide high level knowledge on the following operating systems/technologies: Windows Server, Terminal Services; Windows Active Directory; Guardian; /Linux; and/or Application Installation. - Provide high level knowledge of core Java principles and possess Java diagnostic expertise. - Remote work permitted. • Partner with the Vice President-Tax to manage the state and local income tax compliance calendar • Review state and local income tax returns, indirect tax returns, estimated tax payments, and extensions prepared in-house and by the Company’s external accounting firm • Ensure the timely and accurate filing and remittance of all state and local income tax filings • Assist the Director-Tax with tax controversy matters, including responding to state and local income tax notices • Provide advice on various indirect tax matters, including sales and use, live entertainment, hotel occupancy taxes, and information reporting • Review the tax provisions of legal agreements and vendor contracts, identifying potential tax issues • Monitor developments in tax laws, regulations, administrative guidance, and judicial interpretations; assess their impact to the Company • Assist the Director-Tax in ad-hoc research projects, including researching federal, state, and local tax issues
Role Description The Identity Access Management (IAM) Analyst is responsible for executing, administering, and providing operational support for MGMRI information security Identity and Access functions and its supporting systems (HRMS, Gaming, SOX, and PCI applications). This team member will need to demonstrate technical SME knowledge, drive, and agility within the IAM team. - Strong knowledge of identity services, RBAC, PIM/PAM, MFA, SSO & related standards (e.g. SAML, OAUTH, NTLM, LDAP, Kerberos, PKI, etc.) - Experience with IAM products like SailPoint IIQ, BeyondTrust Password Safe EPM, OKTA, Azure AD, and Active Directory. - Coordinate and communicate with all levels of MGM RI business, Project Management Office, and Information Technology teams to execute automated access provisioning solutions.
