Role Description MWH is currently seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the team in engineering, coordination, and construction of the civil, architectural, and structural packages on a large wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) project in Tampa, FL. This position will report directly to the Senior PM and is accountable for supporting all aspects of delivery for civil, architectural, and structural work, which may include: - Procurement - Contract management - Change management - Quality management - General management of other work-related issues The Assistant PM must ensure work is performed on budget, on schedule, and in accordance with the contract documents and other engineering standards. Qualifications - A Bachelor of Science or higher university degree in engineering, construction management, or a related degree. An equivalent combination of experience, skills, and training may be substituted. - 4+ years of experience in project engineering, site superintendent, or trade package management specifically in heavy civil, structural, or buildings construction. - Familiarity with preparing contract scoping documents, reading contract drawings and specifications, and basic construction principles and practices.
