Job Description

Senior Sales Manager – National Accounts

Canadian Solar Inc.

• Generate, identify, qualify and contact new business leads for the Residential Energy Storage division of Canadian Solar: EP Cube • Establish new relationships with new home builders and construction companies that will result in new revenue channels • Meet with existing distribution and installation partners that are servicing the new home building space • Travel approximately 50% (or more) throughout the year within your designated sales territory • Track all customer leads in our CRM and use data to track pacing towards meeting and exceeding individual and team KPI's • Partner closely with internal Executives in Sales, Operations, Planning and more to establish revenue forecasts • Use your expert knowledge of rebate programs available to new home builders • Participate in trade shows and conferences to represent the company and close new sales opportunities

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience, within the Energy Storage or Battery industry
  • 3+ years selling to new home builders, construction or other real estate related experience
  • 5+ years B2B sales of tangible products that are technical and/or electrical in nature
  • Proven ability to quickly build B2B relationships within the construction space
  • Strong ability to find the decision maker in a complex deal
  • Expert Presentation and communication skills - In person, over video/phone and email
  • Excellent interpersonal skills: you're a team player, open to trying to new things, receptive to coaching and feedback
  • High proficiency with MS Office applications, including Outlook, Excel and CRM tools
  • Bachelor's or Associate degree in business management, administration, engineering, supply chain or related a related field is a plus, but not required
  • Bilingual in Spanish or other languages are a plus, but not required.
