Technical Service Representative, Liquid Water Ink
INX International Ink Co.
• Performing color matching and completing drawdown requests • Managing color/standard database • Communicating with the customer on color match and technical requests • Performing lab functions when working out of the lab • Performing Technical Service at customer locations • Controlling Work-off, press-side technical support, housekeeping and monthly reporting • Handling Inventory management and record-keeping • Following all safety requirements • Dispensing inks, performing color matches, supporting/training ink room staff
Job Requirements
- Have a High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalent
- Must be able to pass a color vision test
- Have the ability and willingness to travel
- Be able to match colors effectively
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills
- Effectively communicate with peers and customers
- Have excellent written, reading comprehension and basic math skills
- Have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently
- Associate degree from 2-year college or trade school (a plus)
- Previous ink inplant experience (a plus)
- SAP experience and proficient with Microsoft Suite programs (a plus)
- 3-5 years in the ink industry and experience in commercial printing (a plus)
