• Build pricing and underwriting models and analyses to guide new deal pricing and review of existing pricing arrangements. • Perform detailed medical cost, utilization, and trend analyses to support rate development and pricing recommendations. • Evaluate profitability of quotes, renewals, and book-level performance relative to pricing assumptions. • Track performance of existing contracts. • Support evaluation of risk and pricing strategies for new and existing products through multiple scenarios, such as base, downside and upside cases. • Analyze and assess the integrity of the data being used for underwriting. • Identify and recommend mechanisms and contract terms that mitigate known and unknown risks and uncertainties. • Partner with operations, medical economics / business analytics, product, sales, account management and others as appropriate, including providing guidance during the proposal, diligence and contracting phases regarding data and analytics requirements to ensure strong underwriting can be achieved, along with maximizing outcomes and minimizing risk. • Maintain data integrity and accuracy in pricing and underwriting databases. • Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Drive business development and revenue generation by identifying, pursuing, and winning new client relationships with accountability for achieving significant sales targets • Own and expand strategic client accounts, serving as executive sponsor and trusted advisor to build long-term relationships that enhance BMI's brand and market position • Lead creation of compelling proposals, RFPs, and capability presentations that differentiate BMI's integrated analytics and technology offerings • Oversee end-to-end engagement lifecycle including selling, contracting, scoping, kickoff, delivery, and post-project follow-up to ensure exceptional client value • Provide intellectual leadership and strategic direction to project teams, guiding solution design and ensuring analytical rigor throughout delivery • Build, lead, and inspire high-performing teams of professionals across multiple levels and locations, fostering culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration

• Develop, modify, qualify and implement Ethylene Oxide sterilization processes with contract sterilizers • Manage communications with contract sterilizers and laboratories for sterilization processes • Interpret and evaluate analyses against established specifications and recommend corrective action • Support assessment and implementation of environmental monitoring methods for cleanroom manufacturing

• Support strategic decision making: Contribute to the design of innovative research studies that examine the impacts of educational innovations on learner outcomes, with consideration of socioeconomic, cultural and linguistic diversity. • Design and execute research: Collaborate with other lead members to develop proposals, analysis plans, and high-quality research products using a diverse range of data sets and methodological approaches. • Lead and conduct advanced data analysis: Use modern statistical programming tools like R, SAS or Python to merge and analyze large, complex data datasets and to build and maintain analytic workflow, tools, or interactive dashboards (e.g., using Tableau or Excel). • Support collaborative efforts: Support partnerships with educators, education leaders, and/or technology producers in research-practice partnerships by advising on the inferences that can be drawn validly from available data to inform design iterations and refinements. • Contribute to dissemination and communication: Lead and contribute to scholarly dissemination efforts. Translate complex quantitative findings into clear narratives and visualizations for non-technical audiences, including educators, school leaders, funders and policy makers. • Leadership and mentoring: As a senior role, the statistician in this position will advise and collaborate with other quantitative analysts, and may mentor colleagues in acquiring and applying a range of analytic techniques.
