Role Description As the Business Development Account Director Consumer Health, you will be responsible for driving growth and market penetration across the France & MEA regions. This is a high-impact senior role that requires a strong hunting mindset. While you will manage an existing portfolio with over 20 accounts, your primary success will be measured by your ability to proactively "open doors," identify untapped market potential, and win new business with premium global and regional brands. You will act as the strategic lead in positioning our complex CDMO solutions to new and existing partners. Key Responsibilities - Manage and grow a portfolio of existing Consumer Health customers - Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities, focusing on Consumer Health/OTC brands where Catalent is not yet present - Lead product and commercial proposals, quotations and negotiations - Coordinate daily operational topics with internal teams (R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality) - Maintain disciplined pipeline management and accurate forecasting - Ensure professional, reliable and consistent customer communication - Attend tradeshows, exhibitions and congresses across EMEA - Travel within EMEA to support business development activities - Lead the entire sales cycle from initial cold outreach and "door-opening" to qualification and final contract closing - Stay ahead of industry trends in the regions to identify new niches and competitive advantages Qualifications - Proven track record of successfully winning new business in a competitive B2B environment - 5 to 10 years of commercial experience in Consumer Health, Pharma, or Healthcare; experience in a CDMO setting is a distinct advantage - Deep knowledge of the customer landscape in France & MEA; an existing network in these markets is highly desirable - Strong negotiation skills and the ability to navigate complex, long-cycle sales processes within a matrix organization - Excellent communication and negotiation skills with senior customer stakeholders - Highly self-motivated and able to generate your own leads and momentum without constant supervision - Fluency in French and English is mandatory; Arabic is a plus - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed and international environment - Willingness to travel across the EMEA region Behavioral Attributes - Highly autonomous and self-organized - Structured and disciplined in daily work - Emotionally mature and low-ego - Pragmatic, reliable and accountable - Able to combine operational workload with proactive business development - Persistent & Resilient: Comfortable with cold-calling and networking - Comfortable working independently in a remote, multi-country environment - Motivated to grow the business and to enter new markets Benefits - Opportunities to advance your career - Work with a global leader in drug development and production - Contribute to over 7,000 products that save and improve lives - Dynamic work environment with meaningful contributions Company Description Catalent is an exciting and fast-growing international company where employees work directly with pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, and consumer health companies of all sizes to advance new medicines, from early development through clinical trials and to market.
