Job Description

Ping Engineer – Identity and Access Management, Single Sign-On (SSO)

RTX

• Provide engineering support for a variety of SSO tools such as PingFederate, PingAccess, and new emerging technologies like EntraID • Collaborate with cross-functional team to integrate applications with SSO solutions • Assist with troubleshooting of user issues related to SSO integrations • Develop documentation, workflow diagrams, and assist with the creation of test scripts as needed • Understand and work with the team to resolve technical and non-technical problems • Participate in production support for any incidents • Identify and communicate risks/issues and provide recommendations on potential fixes • Follow precise processes and procedures to ensure compliance with RTX security policies, government requirements, industry standards, and internal organizational mandates.

Job Requirements

  • Typically a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
  • Strong working knowledge of authentication protocols such as: OAuth/OIDC, SAML , WS fed
  • Minimum 3 years of significant application integration experience with PingFederate and PingAccess
  • Prior experience integrating SSO products in complex environments
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
