Sales Project Manager – Manual Valves
Ferguson
• Manage manual valve opportunities for capital projects from initial inquiry through order fulfillment • Develop and maintain relationships with end users, EPCs, contractors, and strategic manufacturing partners • Collaborate with local sales teams to drive customer preference, project visibility, and specification influence • Source and evaluate competitive valve solutions while balancing technical requirements, lead times, and commercial objectives • Prepare quotations, review project specifications, and coordinate bid responses • Track project opportunities and maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management • Support day-to-day MRO valve requirements as needed • Serve as a technical and commercial resource for customers and internal stakeholders • Coordinate with operations, procurement, and manufacturers to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction • Maintain a high level of responsiveness and professionalism while managing multiple customer opportunities simultaneously
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of industrial sales, valve, PVF, process equipment, or related experience preferred
- Strong understanding of industrial valve applications and project sales processes is highly desirable
- Ability to work independently, prioritize workload, and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience working with EPC firms, end users, contractors, or industrial manufacturers is a plus
