Role Description - Perform daily SAP system checks and monitor system performance to ensure optimal operation. - Manage and monitor SAP system landscapes, including ECC, S/4HANA, BW, CRM, SCM, and other SAP systems. - Perform routine tasks such as system copies, patches, kernel upgrades, and database maintenance. - Monitor system performance, conduct troubleshooting, and resolve issues to ensure SAP systems operate effectively. - Implement SAP system backups and restore processes, ensuring data integrity and system availability. - Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems, including new installations and upgrades for SAP applications, databases, and operating systems. - Execute release upgrades and support package applications, ensuring compliance with SAP guidelines and best practices. - Plan and conduct system migrations, both on-premises and to cloud environments like AWS, Azure, or SAP Cloud Platform. - Plan and execute S/4HANA system conversion autonomously. - Perform regular system tuning and capacity planning to maintain high system availability and performance. - Analyze performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and optimize SAP systems for better efficiency. - Work with functional teams to address system performance issues and fine-tune configurations. - Provide Level 2 and Level 3 technical support for SAP Basis-related issues, coordinating with SAP Support and internal teams to resolve issues in a timely manner. - Support incident, problem, and change management processes following ITIL standards. - Participate in on-call rotations to provide after-hours support as needed. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience. - 2-4 years of experience in SAP Basis administration. - Experience with SAP ECC or S/4HANA systems, including installation, upgrade, and maintenance. - Hands-on experience with at least SAP HANA database. Requirements - Experience with cloud environments and services, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. - Knowledge of automation tools and scripting languages for system administration tasks. - Certifications in SAP Basis or related areas are preferred. - Willingness to participate in on-call rotations for after-hours support. - Ability to travel occasionally for training or business needs.
