Role Description In this role as a Sr Payroll Analyst for the APJ region, you'll be supporting the Payroll Manager and collaborating with various internal teams to enhance our payroll systems across APJ. Your analytical skills will be put to good use as you work on benefits, HR, stock management, and sales commission processing, ensuring we deliver accurate and efficient payroll services. What You Will Be Doing - Process payroll for the APJ region accurately and on time, while resolving discrepancies and addressing employee inquiries (ServiceNow). - Coordinate the data entry and maintenance of payroll information systems and conduct reconciliations of payroll accounts to prepare payroll reports. - Implement data validation checks to ensure accurate payroll processing. - Support stakeholders by fulfilling ad-hoc requests for payroll data analysis, delivering timely and insightful information. - Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations throughout the APJ region. - Maintain current knowledge of payroll compliance requirements and best practices. - Collaborate with the legal team to address compliance-related queries and implement necessary changes. - Generate and analyze payroll reports to identify trends and discrepancies. - Prepare documentation for both internal and external audits related to payroll processing. - Collaborate with finance teams to ensure payroll data reconciles accurately with financial reports. - Collaborate closely with HR teams to align on payroll-related issues. - Facilitate effective communication between payroll and finance departments to streamline processes and enhance efficiency. - Maintain solid relationships with payroll vendors to ensure effective service delivery. - Review and approve vendor invoices for accuracy and compliance. - Monitor vendor performance to ensure adherence to service-level agreements and contractual obligations. Qualifications - 5+ years with payroll administration in the APJ region. - Experience with payroll data analysis tools. - Knowledge of HR management systems (Workday). - Skills in generating payroll reports. - Experience using data validation tools. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation. - Knowledge of ServiceNow for managing payroll inquiries. - Experience with TMF Horizon Payroll Vendor operations (Preferred). Requirements - Ability to conduct payroll account reconciliations. - Successfully improved payroll processing accuracy by implementing new validation checks. - Streamlined payroll operations, leading to a reduction in processing time. - Achieved compliance with local labor laws through effective audits and process improvements. - Delivered actionable insights through payroll data analysis to support decision-making. - Established solid relationships with payroll vendors, resulting in enhanced service delivery. - Played a key role in successful internal and external payroll audits with minimal discrepancies.
