Qualifications - Graduation from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school (or completion of required clinical proficiency exams if foreign graduate). - Licensure in good standing in the state of California. - At least two years experience in the practice of small animal veterinary medicine and surgery is required. - Competence in the performance of surgical and dental procedures that would be routinely anticipated to occur in a general small animal practice. - Competence in the delivery of patient-appropriate anesthetic protocols. - Competence in the work-up of medical cases that would be routinely anticipated to be manageable in a general practice setting. - Competence in both outside and in-house diagnostic modalities including digital whole body and dental radiography, hematology and serum chemistries, cytology, etc. - Willingness to grow and adapt, and an inclination to embrace change and work together to build an optimal solution for all. - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
