Job Requirements
- 5+ years of professional Android development experience using Kotlin
- Solid understanding of the Android SDK, Android Studio, and application architecture
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and other data-exchange formats
- Experience with version control (e.g., Git)
- Knowledge of Android best practices, including UI/UX design principles
- Understanding of secure coding practices and application security
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with strong communication and collaboration
- Understanding of AI tools and proficiency in applying them (but not during the interview process unless expressly stated)

Role Description We’re searching for product-focused Android engineers to evolve our native mobile app. You’ll take pride in building polished user experiences, and you’ll balance the need for well-tested resilient code with moving fast and iterating. - Work on a product that is a part of day-to-day life for more than 11 million people. - Collaborate in a small, autonomous product squad alongside various roles including iOS Engineers, Backend Engineers, User Researchers, Product Designers, Product Managers, QA Testers, and Data Scientists. - Be responsible for an overall company goal, impacting both what we build and how we build it. - Engage in weekly meetings with the Android discipline to discuss tools, techniques, and codebase improvements. - Report to an engineering manager dedicated to helping you grow and develop as an engineer.
